Review summary

I would give it no stars if I could. This was the biggest waste of a vacation/time/money/experience. The staff is nice which is why I gave it one star. This is the only positive part of the whole trip. It is too crowded making it feel like a worse version of six flags. Absolutely everything is extra. My favorite is that they charge you $25 dollars a towel if it is not returned. It is

absurd! All the food is uneatable and quite disgusting not to mention very expensive.

the rooms are very small which is expected but they include nothing. Not even shampoo and conditioner is included! All the activities are cheesy and pathetic. They all are plows of making you spend more money. The ship is money hungry, poor quality, and honestly a pathetic accuse of a vacation. I would rather be at home in the freezing cold than go on this cruise again.

Is the towel fee something new? Great idea. That will free up lounge chairs for other people to use throughout the day. I agree with all the other members that "disappointed" is a passenger everyone would dread to be around. To be polite… eat a Snickers.

The 25.00 charge for a towel is for pool towels not returned. Don't want to pay it? Simple solution. Return the towel when finished. I have been on the Allure once before and loved it. What more do you want the rooms to include. They do provide shampoo and conditioner. Entertainment is top notch. I would also like for you to be in the freezing cold rather than on this cruise when I am there

I went on a New Years cruise which was full capacity and it did not feel crowded once. They make the towels expensive so you don't steal them. What you are describing sounds more like you don't have the responsibility to not lose a towel. Also the food is great. You can get food which is included at the dining rooms and windjammer. You need to work on your cruise strategy.

Tat2ed. Was just writing the same thing as Dillpillow. People have different tastes. They try to cater to everyone at the Windjammer. Food safety is always a top priority especially on ships because of Norovirus. All it takes is one person who doesn't wash there hands to infect half the ship. Windjammer is myl personal favorite also in 9 cruises.

Don't be worried, I've been on 9 RC ships and I've always been pleased by Windjammers! I sometimes even want to go there instead of regular dinner

We are going on Allure for the second time and it is amazing all the way around. They have great food options compared to other lines. I think you must have been eating a Carnival cruise by the looks of your review lol!

It makes sense if you have to pay for the towels when you don't return them. Towels cost money dumb dumb! They need to have them back or you're going to get charged

Ok don't go on cruises if you're looking for stuff like this! They always have plenty of shampoo and conditioner on the ship. You probably just stole it so you could give them a bad review and give yourself some attention! Don't go to the specialty restaurants if you don't want to pay. Windjammer is always free as a last resort and it always has good food.

I've been on both the Allure & Oasis as well as smaller ships and I can say it was fabulous!! From the crews to the shows as well as the food in both MDR & Specialty. To each his own. I'm glad "that guy" won't be on my cruise coming up.

Sorry, but you sound a little spoiled and above pampered and in need of attention if you really would rather be in freezing cold than to be on one of the grandest ships in the world....your review does not change my mind in the least.....

Wow what a review. People like you should never go on vacation. Your expectations are ridiculous. You are the passenger everybody dreads. I'm sure you complained every chance you could. I'm sure the crew were nice to you out of fear of you giving a bad review to a higher up. Next time do your research all of these surprises are discussed in every crusie forum online, so there is no excuse for you not to know what to expect.

i think u either had to high expectations and the ship didnt meet them or maybe got on the ship with a different mindset then the rest of us. but cruising isnt for everyone. maybe have a different mindset next time. but alot of people bring their own hair stuff and their own body wash and shampoo and conditioner and all that. but also keep in mind this ship had a capacity of 6,500 so its gonna be crowded. my friend just went dec 13 and got off the 20th and she loved it.

if u go to the non extra cost restaurants u wont pay extra. the only way u pay extra is for the specialty restaurants

I will agree with the prices of the specialty restaurants. That is why we don't eat in them. Plenty of included food on any cruise

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. We went on allure 5 years ago and it was awesome. So much to do. But look at his/her name. That's all that needs to be said. Went in looking for the bad.

wow. we always get shampoo and soaps in our rooms. in fact they actually placed a ton of it in there. we have never been on allure tho we have been on granduer and freedom.
