Amazing Ship!

Sail Date: September 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Overall\, the ship was incredible. The layout was nice\, with the center of the ship being home to common areas such as the Boardwalk\, Promenade\, Central Park. Lots of things to do and features to explore. Staff was excellent\, as always with RC.

Pros: Activity options on board\, Shows\, Great Service

Cons: The rooms and many common areas were hot. Couldn't get the A/C working hard enough. Not unbearable but less than comfortable. Dinners were good but not great!

Recommends Allure of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Nothing really great for the dinner services. We expected more options and higher end food.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was warmer than our comfort level. May be okay for some\, but even with the thermostat all the way down\, it was hot. The beds were incredibly comfortable; probably the best I've slept on on a cruise.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Great shows. The ship is equipped with different arenas that allow for a variety of entertainment (Aqua Theater for water shows\, Ice Rink for Ice Shows\, Large Theater for theatrical shows and musicals).
