WOW WHAT A CRUISE!

Sail Date: March 30, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

We and our adult (30 somethings) kids took this 7 day Eastern Carribean Cruise.  We had been on it before and wanted them to experience it.  Our son had been on 2 cruises (on smaller ships) and his wife had never been on a cruise.  She was afraid of sea sickness, so we supplied her with Sea Bands (bracelts for sea sickness) before ever stepping on the cruise; she was never sick at all!  The ship is so stable she probably wouldn't have needed them anyway, but she (they) had such a fantastic time that they are ready to go again!  They kept saying WOW!  It was fun experiencing the cruise through their eyes.  The broadway show was good, the Acquatic show was great and ice skating very good;  all shows were good.  We tried the specialty restaurants and enjoyed them.  Food was good in the main dining room (try the cold soups like watermelon and peach, etc.; they are so good), but food was excellent in the specialty restaurants

Tip

Get on the ship about 11:30 A.M., go to the Windjammer for lunch and then your room might be ready around 1:00 P.M. Drop off your carry on and head for Studio B to sign up for shows if you weren't able to get one on-line. The shows get booked early. Go to specialty restaurants to get reservation
