NICE SHIP, BAD SPECIALTY RESTAURANT

Sail Date: September 29, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was big, nice, so many things to do and see, well organized shows and activities, but the room was not what we expected,  the closet beside the bed was unconfortable, we had a nice balcony that we used to relax and wait when one of us was getting dressed

The Diamond Members Lounge was exellent!!!  very good waiters willing to make you happy, perfect for a coctail before dinner

The food at the buffets and dining room was very good, the waiters  with good attitude, but we were very dissappointed with the specialty restaurant Chops Grille, it was awfull!!!!

We did reservations for dinner at 9.pm,   when we arrived, they told us they had a delay in the kitchen and we will need to wait for half an hour between the apetizers and main course,  everybody around was complaining, the waitress was nervous, apologizing, it was like a kitchen nightmare experience, finally when the main course arrived, the meat was dry, overdone and untasty, really very bad, we did not eat and still we had to pay for it.

If a restaurant require reservations,  iit is in order to get well organized and shcedule their service appropiately,

We asked some friend who sailed in the Allure 2 months ago and the same thing happened to them at the Chops Grille, it is a terrible place to eat.

The other specialty restaurant Giovanni was exellent!! great food, outstanding service, well organized very good experience, highly recomended,
