Sail Date: August 11, 2013 Ship: Allure of the Seas Cabin Type: Balcony Traveled As: Large Group Reviewed: 3 years ago
We booked this cruise when finishing a cruise last year on our favorite ship, Freedom of the Seas. The cruise vacation turned into a wedding for my son. This ship was very accommodating with the wedding and it went off without any problems. The pictures that the staff photographer took we're priceless. They are some of the best wedding pictures I have seen in a long time. We did love the ship, the shows especially the Aqua Show, the food, the specialty restaurants, the ship as a whole. The only reason I would not give this ship a 5 star is that we also noted that there were some staff that acted like they were doing you a favor by helping you. This was noted at the spa, in some of the food places, and staff at the shows. We have never come across this in all of our 10 years of cruising. Just a little surprised as Royal Caribbean as always seen to the smallest of details. However they are still the best and we booked a cruise for 2014 before we left this ship. We are going back to the smaller ships to really see the comparisons of both big to small.
