An Amazing Cruise

Sail Date: May 13, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We did not know if we would enjoy a "mega ship" when we booked. However, we would do it again in a heartbeat. Although there were 5,000+ people, most of the time you wouldn't know it.

Pros: The Allure of the Seas

Cons: Rain

Recommends Allure of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
The Allure is a magnificant ship - not to be missed.
Food and Dining
We never have a problem with the food when we cruise. There are so many options avaialble it will make your head spin.
Cabin / Stateroom
There are less drawers and less shelves in the staterooms, which I found to be a problem, but not a deal breaker. I would not get a balcony again. On one side we had a cigar smoker and on the other a chimney, who smoked out there constantly. Not worth spending the money when you can't use it.
Service and Staff
The staff was wonderful. Captain Johnny is really great. Of all the cruises we have taken, he was the most accessable captain and the friendliest.
Entertainment
The entertainment was great. Just be sure to reserve your tickets in advance, or you won't get a seat.
