7 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)
Sail Date: November 20, 2011
Ship: Allure of the Seas
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 5 years ago
The ship is beautiful and spacious with plenty of activities to keep 6,000 passengers from crowding up in public areas. The crew was attentive, friendly and helpful. Scheduling of shows, public events, and main dining was flawless and allowed passengers to do as much or as little as they wanted.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We chose "My Time Dining" and loved it. This is the first cruise we've eaten in the Main Dining Room most nights. We went to Specialty Restaurant "Giovanis Table" one night and really enjoyed that as well. Food and service was excellent.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The variety and quality of shows was the best we've seen out of 16 cruises we've taken so far. You had to reserve in advance to ensure you were able to see all the shows you wanted to, but we liked being able to have everything done prior to boarding the ship.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was immaculate, nicely decorated (large Holiday Tree was put up on the Promenade deck the day after Thanksgiving, and it was gorgeous).

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was clean and had plenty of storage, and quite a few little things that really made a difference, like automatic nightlight in the bathroom, and swivel/multi-plug electrical outlet.

Pros: The entertainment selection and quality of entertainment was great.

Cons: The itinerary.
