Magnificent Ship

Sail Date: October 16, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is very well thought out and is a wonderful experience. Many varied options for food, entertainment and relaxing. Royal creates an excellent cruise experience.

Pros: Grand and exciting with many activities and events. Well appointed.

Cons: The elevators; too many people

Recommends Allure of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Overall quality of the food is average to good. Restaurant variety options are available but we did not choose to go to any of the specialty restaurants. Dining times option worked well for us. Best options were the Solarium and the Cafe on "Central Park".
Ship Quality
The size is actually TOO big. Condition of public areas is excellent since it is new. Clean. Well appointed. Elevators are an issue. Use the stairs.
Cabin / Stateroom
Ocean view staterooom. Outstanding. The bed is perfect!
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Shows were excellent! Chicago was well done but way too long. Blue Planet was absolutely amazing and not to be missed.

Don't Miss: The 12 meter yacht excursion was very unique and a highlight of our trip.
