Nothing Like it

Sail Date: November 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

I have sail 46 times on many different cruise lines over a 30 year period. I have never encountered a ship like the Allure of the Seas. Have you ever wondered why cruise lines don't pay attention to what passengers want? RCCL has listened and created a ship with that will appeal to all ages and wants. Pay the extra money this ship is worth every penny!

Pros: Central Park, Solarium

Cons: Nothing

Recommends Allure of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Brand new! Even though it holds 6500 passengers you do not feel crowded.
Food and Dining
Food was great. the ship has many different new options not seen before on RCCL
Cabin / Stateroom
Typical layout from other RCCL ships but with new amenities. The beds are Ritz quality.
Service and Staff
Although the staff is new they were very friendly and helpful. I lost a piece of luggage and a waiter spent 30 minutes with me helping to find it.
Entertainment
Entertainmant was good and well thought out. Shows are now setup in different style venues that allow you to book the shows you want on the nights you want.
