We had a great time... by CarmenW

Sail Date: /

We had a great time but the beds are so hard! The activities were good but couldn't understand a word the CD said especially over the PA system. Good was better in the Windjammer than MDR (at least that was our opinion). Casino was small with lots of old machines. The crew was great. This was my first time on RC and will definitely sail with them again.

Our cruise was fantastic, great food, very friendly professional crew, plenty to done, if I could give 10 stars I would. Looking forward to our next cruise on royal Caribbean. by terryrburton

Just got off the Adventure... by ac06man

Sail Date: /

Just got off the Adventure of the Seas. Easy ship to navigate. My five year old son had a blast at kids camp. Jean Carlo was our room steward and was always made sure we were taken care of. Top notch customer service. Downside customer relations desk was not very friendly along with shore excursion desk. Seems like everything was and inconvenience.

A truly stupendous trip by AlbertsonK

Overall a good trip. Female ship photographer at the Christmas tree was the most disappointing experience on the ship. The piano bar had great entertainment by Giovanni.

Nice by JimDarcruise

It was nice, but I like more big party dancing, plus it was so hard to understand the activity director, especially when she talked fast. Food was good but not as many choices as before.

We just got back from... by jessirae32

Sail Date: /

We just got back from our first cruise ever! We had an amazing time! Next time we know to go to more of the shows! The farewell show was awesome! Mercedes which was our cruise director this ship really kept everything fun for everyone! We went to the "quest" game show and it was hilarious! Dont go to it if you get offended easy and expect to see "things" you cant unsee😂. View your daily planner and go to all the shows and if you're into diamonds view the planner to get your free things! We loved cruising so much we booked our next one before the last day! We know for next time to go to more shows!

Cabin 1658 First time on Adventurer... by charmlady

Sail Date: /

Cabin 1658 First time on Adventurer of the seas. Nice ship, junior suite was great size, walk in closet with amazing storage space everywhere! Cabin steward was ok but I only got 2 towel animal animals in 8 nites which I thought was strange. Had dining package, so are in chops every nite (except 2 nites, I tried Giavinnis and also did mystery dinner). Chops steaks never disappoints, however the waiters on this sailing in chops were not of the standard Ive seen on other ships in chops. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he was kind enough to pay extra attention after that to make sure things ran smoother. Shops on board this ship did not have as good of selection of gifts as I’ve seen on other ships. Bartenders ok but not great. Dining room actually called me twice trying to get me to dine there, even after I explained I had the ultimate dining package, which I thought was a bit odd. Top tier event was not held on formal nite which again, I thought to be strange. Typically this usually coincides with the photos with captain and the formal photos. In fact several rccl employees did not even know what a “top tier event” even was when I asked about it when making my dining reservations. Odd. Overall great cruise!

Average and nothing to write home about by capeman

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

My wife and I are diamond members of RCI, with over 128 nights of cruising on RCI. I purchased this cruise a year ago, the price was good, and we had not cruised on this ship before so we bit. We were Royal fans but the fun is wearing off and cruising with Royal is becoming just average. The things that attract us to cruising is 1. Price, 2. dance venues, 3 the service and food and of course the ship itself. The ports of call are ok if you do your homework before getting on board, so have a plan so you don't blow your days out there. The ship seems to be in a clean and in serviceable condition. The interior cabin was small but the steward did a good job keeping us happy. The main dinning on deck three was ridiculously slow and the food was just so-so. Most of the week we just visited the buffet which was good. Unfortunately the Boleros dance club is right next to the casino, were the smoke pores out and ruins a good evening with excellent live bands. I could smell the smoke on deck six, what a shame. I don't like smelling of smoke and leaving there with a headache, so after three nights I had had enough. I thought the show in the Theater were better than average and the ice show was great. The diamond club was ok if that's your thing to sit and drink for hours on end. Disembarkation on the last day was haphazard, in RCI tradition of a ship of that size, with one person directing foot traffic.

Beautiful Caribbean cruise! The food was great, ship was very clean, and staff friendly. We enjoyed having a balcony to sit out at night to star gaze. by LastCruiseforUs

We had a wonderful relaxing cruise. The water was so blue and clear in the ports and people friendly. I enjoyed the duty free shopping on the ship as they had good deals, and also in Cozumel in the jewelry stores. One excursion snorkeling in Costa Maya was a big disappointment though. didn't see many fish and water was shallow. Over all we had a great cruise.

Great Thanksgiving Family Vacation by MELBATOAST2K

Verified Review
/ Sail Date: / Traveled As: Family (older children)

We really had a great time. Food was better than expected - be sure to make reservations each night so you have at least one seated meal each day. Entertainment was not as good as last time - I feel like the shows were so so (except the magician - he was great) and not too much to do around the pool at sea. Do not take the shuttle to the airport. Uber or Taxi are plentiful, MUCH faster, and cheaper - I made that mistake. Service was great!

Mildly disappointing by fmorpheus4

The ship does not look like it had a recent remodel. Crew lacked enthusiasm and did not present positive attitude for the most part. Rarely a smile for passengers. Food at buffet mediocre.

Cruised on Adventure OTS over... by snowbirdwannabe

Sail Date: /

Cruised on Adventure OTS over Thanksgiving week. This was our first time on RCCL. Had a perfect room configuration for us, with our two boys ages 13 and 18: connecting balcony and inside rooms #9676 and 9681. Highly recommend these rooms for families! The ship is beautiful and in very good condition. The MDR food was only mostly good. MDR service was unfortunately not up to par; they forgot drinks and messed up desserts more than once. I totally understand that they are very busy and probably overworked; of course we, and they, were pleasant about it. The specialty restaurants, Giovanni’s, Chops, and Izumi, were all fantastic. Stateroom service was very good, but lacked niceties that I’m accustomed to, like lotion and good quality soaps. Overall we had a very nice time, and might check out their newer/larger ships sometime.
