We booked our cruise & they upgraded us to a Promenade Room.  This is a room that faces the inside of the boat.  In other words, it is literally over the shopping mall, bars, & other places.  Our room was 2 levels on top of their bar.  It was absolutely awful!!!  We could not go back to our room & rest as usual- after a day on the islands.  All we would hear is BEATS to Rock n Roll!  Also at night, below us, a guy sang in the bar till 12:30 in the morning!  The beat music would start up at 7-7:30 in the morning!!!  We called the front desk several times.  The boat was completely booked.  Finally, one day the front desk called us & told us they could move us to another room!!  That was really nice!!  Anyway, if you don't want to party till 1:30 in the morning, or if you want peace & quiet, STAY AWAY from the Promenade rooms!!!

Personally, I prefer the smaller Royal Caribbean boats. For example, I loved Enchantment of the Seas. Way less partying & a much calmer, more relaxing boat!!

Like I said- STAY AWAY from the Promenade Rooms!! Unless you want to hear Rock music & beats LOUDLY in your room- stay away!!!!

Ship Tip

My tip would be this: If you want a more relaxing cruise vacation, and you're not into partying, choose another ship!!!!
