Review summary

Our trip was on the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas. It received some upgrades in 2014, however they apparently didn't upgrade the servers for wireless. The internet package was pretty expensive, however the server went down several times and we were unable to access the wireless. We did not receive credit. We bought the drink package ($399.00), but the drinks seemed to be watered down quite a bit so it was not worth the money. The ports were all very nice, however this was the first trip to Martinique so guest services didn't have much information. The food was just ok. I had always heard it was better than Carnival, I'm not sure I agree with that. The crew was very nice and there were some standouts, but it seemed like most of the crew was just going through the motions. They didn't seem very happy.

There were a couple of issues with our room. The air conditioning went out and the bathroom door wouldnt close. They were fixed quickly, but I would think they would have caught that before we boarded.

Crew members on all cruise lines receive slave wages, are on duty 14 hrs a day, 6 days a week. Treat them cheerfully, their lives are difficult to say the least.
