Review summary

The ports of call are great, but the ship is looking very haggard as it is scheduled for a badly needed refurb in spring of 2016. The rooms have missing screws on the doors, stains on the carpet and chairs. Shower handles have cracked chrome that can cut one as they shower. The evening entertainment & dining rooms are great, but watch out for the Windjammer. The Windjammer buffet features cold and off temperature food, not a good mix. I wouldn't sail on the Adventure of the Seas ship again. Cruise directer is great and does all he can to cover the gaps.

Wait staff in the dining room was super. Cabin attendant staff below par, Cabins not serviced and dirty, no Interaction.

Ship is well worn and not being taken care of as refurb is coming in spring 2016.

Cabin was dirty and worn terribly. Very cramped when a king bed is assembled. Closets are not handy, nor are most amenities in the cabin.

Ship tip

Avoid the Windjammer buffet as food is all processed store bought food. No creativity.

Great initial port, but Old San Juan is a taxi away. The RC port is NOT like Carnival where you get off in Old San Juan.

Watch you purse or wallet, if it falls to the ground, it will be gone in a flash if you don't get it first. All attractions are away from the ship except the market. Beware of thieves.

Don't go to beach by Rhianna's estate. The surf is treacherous and coral boulders roll up with each wave beating up your feet and legs, leaving a bloody mess!

looking at the website, I think it's fall because they are booked all spring but a gap in October, November. We sail in July lol
