Review summary

We went on the Royal Caribbean's Independence in 2014 and I thought that was a little better as far as the stateroom decks appearance (they could also open to the next room which would have been helpful for us this year because we had 4 rooms right next to each other).  The Windjammer also seemed a lot more crowded this year compared to last year.  All of the activities on the ship this year were top notch including the poolside contests and especially the dance workouts!  All of the shows on board were excellent for 2014 and 2015.  The dining room staff and all of the bartenders were exceptional for both years.  We only had one bad experience with one of our excursions, the kayaking in Curaçao for which I intend on writing a bad review and do not fault Royal Caribbean.  Overall, it was a great trip for both years and I would recommend it highly.

The room was great but the balcony was not as nice as the one on the Independence!

Ship tip

Definitely read the daily activities that they leave in your room to plan your day. Also, find out about the excursions by reading the reviews, etc. Also, walk around the ship to familiarize yourself with all the areas.

Skip the kayaking, you are better off walking around the historical area right off ship, beautiful area with the forts, shops and excellent restaurants!
