We just returned from a week-long trip to the southern Caribbean (Aruba-Curacao-St. Martin-St. Thomas), aboard Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas. We would highly recommend this trip to everyone looking for a well-run, self-spoiling, very diverse, etc., cruise. They seem to have thought of just about everything. The crew and staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. Our only disappointment was in the Portofino restaurant, which is $20 each plus extras. The food was not so exceptional compared to the regular dining room, although the service was excellent. Be wary-they give you a charge card when you first board the ship, then nickel-and-dime every extra that is required or desirable. For example, they were constantly taking pictures and then charging $7-$20, some of which you would want, of course. Otherwise, we had a very good time. The ship was beautiful!
