A real disappointment

This is our third Royal Carribean Cruise and we had decided why cruise with anyone else? They've been top notch so far. This cruise a big disappointment, the shows were the same as their other ships, even the same special entertainers that we saw last year. The dining wait staff was way overworked and unable to give good service. They worked as fast as they could but we never got a second drink, second roll, etc. I wouldn't recommend this ship. Try another cruise line if you would like variety and hopefully more quality than this. I've been thrilled with my first two experiences with Royal Carribean. I feel like I was just taken for a lot of money and given minimal quality in return. It's so obvious that staff has been cut and probably due to the gas prices being so high. Royal Carribean, if you read this, the last place you should cut is your wait staff!

Pros: The show

Cons: The dining experience/entertainment overall

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? No.

Food and Dining
The quality of the food in the dining room was poor. The menu was boring. It was obvious that most food was poured from a frozen box and heated. The service extremely slow, our poor waiter was working his heart out and so wasn't the assistant waiter. Royal Carribean has obviously cut their wait staff to save gas money since this service used to be the highlight of the cruise. Dinner was no less than 2 hours each night with 20-30 minute waits between courses, never offered to take a drink order, we had to ask, never got refills and let me be clear, this was not our waiters fault, they were working as hard and fast as they could!
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We loved having a balcony.. our room was always perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Service and Staff
Had to go to the pool bar to get our own's very obvious that staff has been cut, not the usual waiters walking around to get your drinks.
If you're looking for variety, try another cruise line if you've done Royal Carribean.. same shows, entertainers go from ship to ship ever year, nothing new.. seen it before.. however "Fountains" their new show was extremely funny.. don't miss..
