Not what we expected

Sail Date: September 01, 2007

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Adventure of the Seas is a beautiful ship with wonderful Ports of Call. We found the staff to be very friendly.

Pros: The Ports of Call

Cons: Staterooms sold-out to locals at a much more discounted price

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
All areas looked clean as should be expected.
Food and Dining
We have been on other cruiselines were the food was much better. I am disappointed that bottled water, coke, fresh squeezed orange juice, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Johnny Rockets all cost extra on top of what we have already paid.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a suite, so enjoyed the additional room it offered. Our cabin steward was very accomodating and friendly. However, he used bleach one day in the bathroom and didn't rinse it off properly and a shirt I hung to dry in the bathtub got bleached out.
Service and Staff
Everyone was friendly, I can't say above & beyond.
Not too impressed with the quality of the shows-alot of RCL propaganda before the sho actually started.
