Good Cruise for the Money

Sail Date: October 01, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is beautiful, we have been on this ship 5 times and basically use it as a floating hotel. We go to each port and enjoy the great beaches.

Pros: Entertainment by Masonex

Cons: The Food

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom is adequate, the balcony makes the room. The shower could be a little bigger and thank goodness the replaced the mattresses and bedding. They have changed the bedding to to better quality of sheets and the duvet is a wonderful idea. At least you feel cleaner with the blanket being in a duvet! Couch could use some refreshing however!
Entertainment
The shows were not great althought they tried. Masonex was the best after that it was sharply downhill.
Ship Quality
Public areas are always well maintained and the best part his having 2 pools. If you want to relax quietly without children there is a wonderful pool for that purpose. Unfortunately, the cruise of 10/28 had a majority of cruisers that were rude, loud and had no regard for other passengers. The quiet pool and the jacuzzi was filled with children. Cruisers smoked in non smoking areas and left trash where ever they were.
Food and Dining
Dining depends on when you cruise. The meals seemed to be geared with what the majority of the population on the ship is at that time. Sometim es they are great, others can be mediocre. The unfortunate part is that there is a lack of "healthy" choices for those of us that do not want to indulge in carbs.
Service and Staff
They are always great and willing to accommodate
