January 2015 - Celebrity Reflection to Caribbean - Eastern
The ship was beautiful top notch along with the rooms just stunning. I would not book the week after the Christmas / New Years Cruise. There were just a few select crew that were doing there job and making you feel like you were on vacation.
The remaining crew were just going through the motions of doing the minimum work needed to get though. Close to all crew members when asked what is up with every one, no smiles or hello,Ect? The response was " The last 2 cruises bet us up, no sleep and non stop go, go". Sold over 2,076 drink packages when their average was between 1,600-1,800. This made the crews last 2weeks crazy. At one point 6 of us went to the casino around 4pm while we were at sea to kill time before dinner. We asked for the pit boss to open up a black jack table and she actually rolled her eyes and turned away and raised her hand for us to hold on. No hello or welcome. it was a WOW moment.
Just not on their game, we have cruised over 20x and we liked one of our other Celebrity Cruises so we tried this one, may try it again just because the ship was beautiful and to see if it was truly an exhausted staff.
