A bit confused because our emails state that were going to Nassau, Bahamas. But if you go to RC site to "book" our cruise on our date the itinerary change shows St. Maarten was replaced with St. Kitts.

No way St Maarten is ready. That is a 6 month clean up operation at the least. And that is if Hurricane Jose misses them. I don't think San Juan got hit too bad. Look like it might have skirted Turks & Caicos as well but don't know if Grand Turk can handle an Oasis class ship. Haven't heard yet about Labadee. At any rate, there will be at least one itinerary change with St Marteen and that might shuffle sea days around etc.

Let's pray not too much or no damage is happens. We cruised last year & we stopped in Freeport where Hurricane Matthew hit bad...port was closed for more than a month & opened when we sailed...the island was in bad shape. Hoping all is ok by then.

Hurricane Irma appears like it is going to be a major hurricane as it passes over every port that The October 8th sailing is going to. God forbid there is extensive damage to these areas, but what is the protocol if a ship can't make it to port? Will it be another day at sea or a different port? Hoping this hurricane spares these islands and the United States!

After some searching, looks like the drink package should cover Labadee as well. Per the site it honored at any bar or lounge , Windjammers Cafe, main dining roll and private destinations. I believe Labadee falls under " private destination".

Top shelf and your choice! I always buy the package and find it a great value. If you plan to drink 5 or more a day then it just makes sense. Plus you know exactly how much your going to spend for the week on drinks, avoids that Sticker-Shock-Face on last day when Seapass account total is delivered to room!

drewcjm

Yes, but it normally does not last very long and the captain will do his best to reposition the ship in better weather. Pools will stay open as long as there is no lightning and there is plenty to do onboard inside. It's never been much of an issue.

This is only my 2nd cruise & the last one was just perfect. Great weather, amazing food, great time! I was just wondering what all went on if there was rain. I'm assuming thing don't "close down" outside unless there's lightening involved?! From my reading & pictures it seems there's a rock climbing wall & zip lining outside so I was wondering if that will still happen.
