Not really. In the main dining rooms, no pants with rips or tears, or sandals, or shorts either I believe but don't remember for sure lol. Like business casual office attire or golf type would be the most dressed up you'd need to get.

I sure hope we don't encounter some of the itinerary changes I've read about on this app about this ship.

They also have a little shopping area right there as well. Unless you want to do something special like parasailing, snorkeling etc, you don't need to book an excursion.

Free beach is on the other side of senior frogs. You can even see the ship from the beach.

Their private island- as long as the water isn't rocky, they go to their private island. Out of all the cruises I've been on, the private island not being cancelled has been a 50/50 shot since they tether you over. With the private island, they set up a big lunch buffet, you're directly on the beach, &

With Freeport- if you want to see anything outside of their little confined shopping area, you have to book an excursion. Any of the beach ones are nice.

With Nassau- there is so much to do when you get off the boat. The shopping district is HUGE. Also tons of local bars, eateries, stuff you can explore on your own, or you can walk 10-15mins to the free beach which is on the other side of

They kill you in pricing with what they charge for excursions. You can get the same excursions for half the price from a vendor seconds after u get off the boat, or just take a taxi to where u want to go

I haven't but I have friends that have. Everyone that paid the extra $ and did the waterpark said they had fun. Everyone that did just the beach in Atlantis said it wasn't worth it.

I honestly like Junkanoo beach in Nassau better than the paid excursions. The water is calm, the vendors don't bother you, and they have bathrooms. They even have a drink special. It's 4 beers & 3 shots for $10 & they also give u the wifi password!

Thought about doing the Atlantis excursion. Have you ever done that

lauriealecocq

lauriealecocq   Nov 13, 2016 - 1:46 pm

In Nassau, we either walk over to Junkanoo beach (15 min walk from where the cruise docks at), or we take a taxi over to Atlantis to gamble. The taxi to Atlantis is $4 per person each way.

This will be the 3rd time this year alone lol. In Freeport, if you want to see the beach, you have to book an excursion. Taino beach is my favorite in Freeport. In Nassau, blue lagoon island is my favorite beach excursion. I very rarely book excursions anymore. In Freeport, I usually just get off the boat and walk around in the little shopping area.

641 days till this cruise for me. This is the farthest in advance I have ever booked a cruise & the second time I have been on the Norwegian sky! Traveling from PA & the weather is freezing here!
