haven't used them to fly. why don't you just call them and ask?

Dec 11, 2018 - 4:39 pm

Does anyone know when you are notified on flight details when you book thru NCL? Are cruise is on Feb. 7th

Dec 11, 2018 - 2:59 pm

Maybe everybody is bashful.

Dec 11, 2018 - 12:59 pm

I know..this format doesn't lend itself to "conversation...a lot of "me toos".....

Dec 11, 2018 - 12:34 pm

Because I originally said Holiday Inn.

Dec 11, 2018 - 12:18 pm

why is this a mistake?

Dec 11, 2018 - 10:31 am

No're flying in anyway. we do the park n cruise at HI.

Dec 11, 2018 - 10:28 am

I made a mistake as to where we are staying precruise. We are staying at Wyndham French Quarter.

Dec 10, 2018 - 11:08 pm

Me too!

Dec 10, 2018 - 7:13 pm

Hello, me too!

Dec 10, 2018 - 5:40 pm

Any cruisers from Ohio

Dec 10, 2018 - 5:29 pm

Hi all looking forward to February 7

Dec 07, 2018 - 7:01 pm

Sounds nice

Dec 07, 2018 - 3:38 pm

We are flying in the day before. Our flight home is at 2:30

Dec 07, 2018 - 2:47 pm

That HI is a bit crowded pre-cruise, but it works for us. ...we make the reservations waaaay in advance for the park n cruise. we usually arrive late in the afternoon the day b4. anybody else in here use them for park n cruise?

Dec 07, 2018 - 12:06 pm

Sounds like you have the same idea we do

Dec 07, 2018 - 11:44 am

TWO MONTHS FROM TODAY!!! We are doing a 2 day precruise in New Orleans, staying at the Holiday Inn. We have a late flight out on the 17th, but can't find any tours to take up the time.

Dec 07, 2018 - 11:41 am

How come there are no quote options on the roll call? cruisersndr- The port is Belize. There is a wood carver there that we try to find each time we have it on our itinerary.

Dec 04, 2018 - 10:03 pm

Printed out our e-docs today!

Dec 04, 2018 - 9:53 pm

Tendering can be fun with the right attitude. sometimes folks are jammed in, and even tho its a short run, they act like its a big inconvenience. A bit of chop that you never felt onboard, well, its a lil boat...Fact is, you step out and you're there. Those piers are loooong walks. especially back to the ship.

Dec 04, 2018 - 7:50 pm

We do too. Actually enjoy the tender ride.

Dec 04, 2018 - 7:49 pm

Which port?

Dec 04, 2018 - 5:55 pm

We have one craftsman that we like there, when we can find his kiosk. Otherwise, there is a terrific bar called the Sand Piper on the East end of the pier.

Dec 04, 2018 - 5:38 pm

Belize City happens to be one of the few ports on those cruises we actually get off and wander around. Kinda like it. Done a few excursions there when we frst started cruising, none since.

Dec 04, 2018 - 4:42 pm

From wikipedia- Belize City (Spanish: Ciudad de Belice) is the largest city in Belize and was once the capital of the former British Honduras. According to the 2010 census, Belize City has a population of 57,169 people in 16,162 households.[3] It is at the mouth of the Haulover Creek, which is a tributary of the Belize River. The Belize River empties into the Caribbean Sea five miles from Belize City on the Philip Goldson Highway on the coast of the Caribbean. The city is the country's principal port and its financial and industrial hub. Cruise ships drop anchor outside the port and are tendered by local citizens. The city was almost entirely destroyed in 1961 when Hurricane Hattie swept ashore on October 31. It was the capital of British Honduras (as Belize was then named) until the government was moved to the new capital of Belmopan in 1970.[6]

Dec 04, 2018 - 4:36 pm

Glad the countdown clock is still working here...most folks on the main site have to use something else to count days.

Nov 29, 2018 - 2:19 pm

Interesting article in USA Today;

Nov 28, 2018 - 1:53 pm

Been there does not!

Nov 28, 2018 - 12:43 pm

well, even so, Im glad it came up in here...or else it would be surprise surprise when you get back on board and find out just how much that wonderful experience at Harvest Caye cost.

Nov 28, 2018 - 12:26 pm

Not a problem, because this is what I expecting. These are Harvest Caye employees, not NCL, so it makes sense.

Nov 28, 2018 - 12:01 pm

No it does not work at Harvest Caye.

Nov 28, 2018 - 12:01 pm

Sorry JB...unless they've changed it VERY recently, the answer is no..drink and eat all you gets charged to your onboard account...a la carte..I asked why the first time...some guy at a bar said..well, this isn't a NCL bar. hhhmmm..then I googled it. try "ncl harvest caye drink package"'d be unpleasantly surprised I bet. some posts are from this year...soooo.....

Nov 28, 2018 - 11:31 am

I have been told that our drink package works on Harvest Caye.

Nov 28, 2018 - 11:08 am

Only one we have decided on so far is in Cozumel we will do Passion Island.

Nov 28, 2018 - 11:04 am

Been to Harvest Caye exactly twice. Went the first time with all the best intentions. It was more or less brand new. Didn't find any excursions we were interested in, and just as well, since a lot of the reviews weren't all that positive. Discovered the place is well designed to get you to spend even more dough for NCL. Went the second time a little over a year later..Its even bigger, and way more places to spend $$. I seem to remember your ships card doesnt work for much. In any event, I would recommend it for a mornings stroll, just to see it. That way you can get back on board for lunch without all the crowds. that's one of the few days we actually do the buffet for lunch.

Nov 28, 2018 - 10:00 am

unjoined, then rejoined. countdown clock is screwed up.

Nov 28, 2018 - 9:53 am

Same here. We have been to all the ports except Harvest Caye. We will definitely stay on the ship in Ocho Rios. If you want to see a port map of Harvest Caye, go to our FB page in a little bit.

Nov 28, 2018 - 9:26 am

Mostly wander around some ports just for a stretch and change of scene. Strongly suggest you visit some sites that actually show reviews of excursions you're considering written by folks who have taken them. Unfortunately a lot of them aren't all theyre cracked up to be. and usually too expensive. and if you book one, you need to pay for it now. at least its way better doing it now in comfort rather than doing it standing up with 500 of your closest friends

Nov 28, 2018 - 1:44 am

Awesome excited and counting down the days! What are y’all excursions for each port or plan to stay around the dock area. We are looking at excursions now.

Nov 26, 2018 - 10:58 pm

Okay, I thought O'Sheehan's opened at 9:00. We rarely get to breakfast early because my wife likes to sleep in.

Nov 26, 2018 - 4:43 pm

Depends when you get there....but its ALWAYS less crowded in the AM...and we've been on all kinds of different size NCL ships. we usually have a continental bkfst delivered to the cabin in the early am..y'know, leave the tag on the door thing. Its free, and we're early risers anyway, fresh coffee on the balcony isn't hard to take. then its showers and off to either the MDR or Osheehans. that's around 730 ish...and we've not only never had a problem getting a seat at either, but almost all the time its a window. bkfst at Osheehans has moren enough choices for any human, altho the mdr menu is more extensive. ...and starting the day with a bloody mary is my usual. the whole thing beats the buffet at its best anytime...Some folks want to sleep in...that's fine. the trade off is more people.

Nov 26, 2018 - 4:22 pm

Is everyone wise to the fact that they have breakfast or is it less crowded? Full breakfast?

Nov 26, 2018 - 2:42 pm

Yep...diff décor, each ship, but same finger food and breakfasts!! we're there at least 4-5 times +, and still 24/7....

Nov 26, 2018 - 10:47 am

We really used to like the Red Lion Pub. We haven't been on NCL since it was O'Sheehan's as we had to cancel our Escape cruise a few years ago. Is it as good?

Nov 26, 2018 - 10:15 am

You're quite welcome. Hope I didn't further confuzzled an already muddy bunch of water. We've cruised NCL so many times if it wasn't for the cruise history on the website I wouldn't remember most of em. Seem like the beancounters work overtime to do this. Keeping track of the changes, and packages, and vouchers, and even the order you pick dinners and entertainment seems to have an effect on the price. I'd be willing to bet that for every person who even makes the attempt, they're betting there's a dozen more who don't. Cruising costs enough, without letting them make it worse.

Nov 24, 2018 - 7:08 pm

Thank you very much for this information!

Nov 24, 2018 - 4:25 pm

Well...that's the point isn't it JB? easy enough to click on it. after staring at it for a minute, and figuring in the "vouchers" and 4 so-called freebies, I had more questions than answers. NOW I think I got it. 5 specialty restaurant dinners plus a cirque dinner theatre tot cost $24....hate to think what all that costs a la carte.

Nov 24, 2018 - 3:37 pm

Not sure what we paid, but we didn't have any problems signing up.

Nov 24, 2018 - 2:15 pm

Let me correct a post I made re CIRQUE. Depending on your "status" with NCL, and the dining "package" you have, if any, the price will vary. Boy does it ever. I don't think they could have made it any more confusing, and its clear they did it on purpose. The price without logging in, appears to be 47.99pp now. That includes a dinner. I think its surf n turf. Logging in, and depending on whatever else you may choose for your dining package and your "status" with them, it could go down to $12. or even $0. Been with NCL a long time, and it took ME awhile, and a phone call to get it straight.

Nov 21, 2018 - 7:34 pm

Forgot...BURN THE FLOOR is a "dance revue" not exactly my thing, but enjoyed it nonetheless. The dancers aren't too hard on the eyes.

Nov 21, 2018 - 7:33 pm

Cant list or describe all the shows and entertainment on the ship. ROCK OF AGES was awesome..needs reservations. We didn't go to CIRQUE last trip, (we saw it b4 in Vegas,) and they were charging 39 pp, 69pp with a dinner. We figured we'd save it for this trip. Apparently a lot of people felt the same way..outrageous price for a show on a cruiseship. THIS trip its $12pp, apparently with dinner included!!!! Thought it was a we snagged our reservations. Carole's Kings was 3 stupid guys who couldn't sing, telling each other jokes. The Comedy Club was excellent as usual..get the late nite show if you can. you know why. theres entertainment and stuff all over. you have to educate yourself (if you've never done a cruise b4)...log onto your account and wander around. Ive got a fast pc, but their site seems slow to load. be patient.

Nov 20, 2018 - 2:01 pm

Here is a link that shows what ships will be in port.

Nov 19, 2018 - 9:05 pm

Please tell about the comedy club or shows.

Okay, that is funny! We sailed Carnival once It was once too many.

Nov 09, 2018 - 8:12 pm

Thanks...wondered what else would be in port for my 11/11 on BREAKAWAY Carny almost always has one there...Just enough to screw up embarkation.. they have the parking building that NCL used have a few years ago. Funny thing is, we sailed on the Triumph right after the cruise from hell. They had a power failure one afternoon mid voyage on ours....You could feel a couple thousand peeps holding their breaths. Anyway, TRIUMPH NEXT TO BREAKAWAY?? That's like parking a canoe next to an aircraft carrier. Ought to be interesting. THANKS!!
