Thanks kiesh30 for the update.

jhurst   Nov 21, 2016 - 12:42 pm

Me to, I love Royal Caribbean!

kiesh30   Nov 04, 2016 - 6:47 pm

We are on the same cruise. Counting down the days.

kiesh30   Nov 04, 2016 - 6:45 pm

It's a miatake. The port is actually Falmouth. It changed to that about a month ago. If you go to RC website, it still says Falmouth.

jhurst   Nov 04, 2016 - 3:32 pm

Wow you need to find another way to vacation because your definitely to good for a cruise!

jhurst   Nov 04, 2016 - 3:29 pm

We are on the Royal Caribbean in January and one of our ports is Cornwall but I can not find anything about it does any one no anything?

Done Liberty twice--25 RCCL in all, so try as much as you can: casino with special tournaments; spa (watch the Compass Newsletter for daily specials); water park area, Flow Rider Surf Simulator, water slides; rock climbing; mini-golf; ice rink; movies on the pool deck; several pools/hot tubs; fitness center; shows (Saturday Night Fever Broadway show); promenade has shops, cafes, bars; restaurants

Visited Jamaica 7-8 times. Dunns River Falls good for all ages, Martha Brae River Rafting great for families. Been to Falmouth 5 times--nice development between RCCL & Jamaican govt. It has the usual high end shops, souvenir shops, duty-free shops, JB Margaritville, local crafts area and bars/snack shops. If you venture out to Old Town, be careful--go with a group or know where you are going.

hillcountrygirl   Nov 02, 2016 - 7:48 pm

Drink prices are approx $9-10. If you are a big drinker, you may want a pkg--for a moderate drinker it's not a good deal. No drink pkg and big tips to bartenders have always served us well.

hillcountrygirl   Nov 02, 2016 - 7:45 pm

Chops Grille which is excellent is $35 (there was an offer for $28); Giovanni's was $25, don't know if it has gone up"; Sabor had an a la carte charge according to how much you order.

Love those rooms, we've done 3 in the past. The handicapped room has very little storage, however, the standard panoramic staterooms are beautiful. First of all they were newly added, pretty gray/blue palette, sheer curtains + light-blocking curtains, floor to ceiling angled glass wall cantilevered over the water for great views, approx 3' wide bureau drawers and all the usual storage cubbies.

llonergan3   Nov 02, 2016 - 1:52 pm

Looking forward to celebrate the new year with a cruise!!

llonergan3   Nov 02, 2016 - 1:46 pm

It's my third and I think is great! I guess it depends what you're looking for!!

llonergan3   Nov 02, 2016 - 1:45 pm

I have bought it twice and it's well worth, get to know your bartenders then it even gets better!!!

So the alcohol packages from royal are 20% off right now...how often does this happen? Does anyone know why the discontinued one of the packages?

Booked a panoramic room on deck 12, anyone had these rooms? It is a first for us in this kind of room.

amotts   Jun 20, 2016 - 12:09 am

Each one has a different fee, and reservations are recommended not required

jdconley84   Jun 11, 2016 - 10:46 am

Anyone happen to know the prices of the restaurants that you have to pay extra for? I keep reading it's a one price order whatever you want but I can't find any info on actual prices. And are reservations required?

nire_806.hotmail.com   Jun 07, 2016 - 2:29 pm

Are the beverage packages worth buying? I know on the carnival cruise, it was kind of a wash but I don't know how expensive Royal Carribean is per drink.

amotts   May 25, 2016 - 8:20 pm

Is Jamaica really as awful as I keep hearing?

amotts   May 25, 2016 - 3:48 pm

Alaska

bigj1624   Apr 02, 2016 - 12:39 am

OMG worst ever....These are the worst ships I've ever been on (even though I've never been on a cruise). The service was horrible (cause I'm very snobby). All of the ports were extremely dirty and I felt unsafe all of the time (although I've never been anywhere). I got hounded and harassed by locals (even though I never seen anyone). But for all of this I give everyone, every place and ships a 1 star!

bigj1624   Feb 09, 2016 - 9:56 pm

It's already completed and on its first journey

jdconley84   Feb 09, 2016 - 9:52 pm

when is the refurbish supposed to be complete

bigj1624   Feb 05, 2016 - 9:20 pm

We are in the same boat. it's our honeymoon, first cruise and my first actual vacation. we have basically figured out what we want to do but now it's who we want to go through.

crystalo129   Jan 31, 2016 - 10:54 am

this is my first cruise ever! I'm so excited! getting to go with a group of friends. I'm sure I'm gonna have a blast. seems like there's so much to do, how does everybody narrow down all the choices? lol.

rockstarlawyer   Jan 13, 2016 - 9:39 am

we just booked this cruise before we left the ship last week. it was the last cruise before dry dock. I thought the ship was in good condition, but can't wait to see the refurbs! my wife and I will be cruising with our 3 youngest girls who will be 3, 8, and 10 when we sail. you will definitely see the 3 year old onboard!

estroble   Nov 18, 2015 - 8:54 pm
