Can I bring liquor or non-alcoholic beverages (from home or from a port) onboard - Royal Caribbean International Additional bottles of wine beyond two (2) bottles that are brought onboard or any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports of call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing. Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol.

When you go to the different islands you can get souvenirs, chips, choc etc alchol you bring back to the ship you just check in the alcohol when you get on the ship and you get the alcohol back on the night before the cruise ends.

For the two bottles of wine we can bring on board, is this in checked luggage or carry on? (Newbie cruiser, sorry for all my questions!)

The one I booked says it is a 12-15 minute cab ride. I also hear that for 1-4 people in the cab will be about $15 total.

I have had both and I like the 2 sea days at the end. You get to rest and relax after all the walking etc you have been doing 3 days in a row before. When you have 2 sea days in the beginning, you will be spending a part of your last day packing.

I see a lot of chatter about Mr. Sanchez in Cozumel. Can I get someone to give me some detailed information on this excursion? How far it from the dock? What kind of entertainment is there for both adults and kids....etc? Thanks!

Hi onmyway we are not going to make reservations in the MDR we prefer to have it more flexible hoping that it will work

onmyway
Contributor Level: Purser

onmyway   Sep 10, 2016 - 9:11 am

Chantilly - Are you going to make reservations? We aren't, the main reason we chose My Time was because we don't like being tied down to a specific time. I don't think the wait would be too long. When we were on this same ship a few months ago and we would go to the MDR at lunch we never had to wait more than 1 minute for a table.

onmyway   Sep 08, 2016 - 7:54 pm

I just looked it up on RC website. It states that reservations are strongly encouraged for prompt service. So it is not a requirement.

From what I read you sign up the night before with the my time dining and supposedly no waitlist

We have sailed RC several times but have always done traditional dining. This time we opted for My Time dining. We have not received an email about reservations. From what I was understanding is that you just show up at the hostess desk each night anytime between 6 -9. But maybe my information is incorrect.

chantilly1984   Sep 08, 2016 - 6:48 pm

On our last Carnival Cruise we did not have a set time for our dinner when our whole party was ready to go in we signed up at the hostess desk and then waited for our table which never took more than 30 minutes we were hoping to do the same thing on RC but I just received an email that I have to make reservations for every night on my cruise can I just wait and check in with the hostess and have a short wait for a table?

In the past, our itinerary had 1 sea day before the port stops and 2 sea days after the port stops. This time it will be 2 sea days before and 1 sea day after.Has anyone had both of these, if so which do you perfer?
