Hi all my husband myself and my 20 year old daughter are going on the Indy 16 September and although she will be attending the mixer night for 18 to 25 year olds I was wondering if anyone else that age was on ship mate for this cruise

Hi don't be apprehensive check in usually nice easy ,plenty staff to show you where to go with your cases sign your little health form. Then you get your photo taken for your pass keycard. Once on board your holiday starts you can use all the facility's on board ship. Take a small bag with a change of clothes for your first evening as your cases could take up till 9 pm to arrive at your cabin the first number on your pass key is your deck number followed by your cabin number hope this helps πŸŽ‰πŸ˜Ž

Thanks for this kevgilb. You have definately put my mind at ease. We went during the summer hols last year and there were literally hundreds (which scared her half to death as they all seemed to be in littlr groups who knew each other). She is very good at making new friends so fingers crossed she will have an amazing time :-)

We sailed to the Caribbean end of Oct 2016 with friends who had a 13year old girl.We found out that there were only 30 teenagers on the ship where in season there are usually 300!!Within 1-2 Days she started to make friends (around the sports area)after another few days the group had grown!!They all had an amazing time and stuck together the whole cruise!Great memories for all!!

Let's hope so - I'm glad there's going to be at least 1 girl of her own age on the cruise (as I don't think there'll be many)

Hi - we're on the same cruise & our daughter is 13 too. It's our 1st cruise & she's also not keen on the idea of kids club (think it must be a teenage thing!) I'm hoping she'll go along & take a look anyway & realise it's not going to be all 'colouring in' etc!

Evening all. This will be the 3rd time for us on the Indy. Has anyone got any young teenagers travelling with them. My daughter is 13 and has to go in to the older kids club. She has loved the kids club before but isn't looking forward to the teenagers club.

Hi, Southampton sailings usually have a kettle on board. There is also a selection of teas available from the windjammer restaurant and the cafe promenade, of course feel free to take your own favourite brand :)

i am loving todays Royal Carribean April Fool 2017 from wwwthedrum.com

Royal Carribean International

Today, Royal Caribbean International has announced plans to push the boundaries of extraordinary even further with its fifth Oasis Class ship, Piste of the Seas - the world’s first ski resort at sea. The ship, set to launch in 2021, will offer a truly unique way for holidaymakers to hit the slopes and is ideal for anyone torn between a ski or cruise break.

A first of its kind, the ship will accommodate a full size ski resort complete with five real snow runs, a lift and après-ski restaurants, bars and spa. The announcement comes hot off the heels of the fourth Oasis Class ship, Symphony of the Seas, announced last week.

Onboard, guests access the slopes with the help of a state of the art sea lift that glides seamlessly to the top of Mount Mast, where they can admire the beautiful ocean view before tackling the piste. Whether a seasoned skier or taking to the slopes for the first time, a range of ski runs from green to black will accommodate all experience levels. What’s more, the onboard sports team will be taking an intense training course at Courchevel ahead of the maiden voyage to qualify as Level two ski instructors.

And the snow facilities are just the peak of experience. Wood paneled, family sized chalet-styled rooms will be adorned with faux fur throws to snuggle up after a day on the slopes, each one coming with a dedicated Chalet Host to ensure all needs are catered for. There will be an option to upgrade to a hot tub chalet for those looking to unwind after a long day on the piste.

Superb 1st time cruise on navigator.Loved every moment. The air medivac was a bit scary in biscay as ship had to stop and just float whilst helicopter tried to land on ship.
Couldnt do it so casualty was hoisted up.
