Only book your excursion with princess cruises on there site those are the safest do not go off the Beating path and don't drink the water in Mexico order the bottled water package and take bottles with you .. have good walking shoes and just have fun I booked the cheapest and more fun ones witch show me the towns and shopping .. it all depends what you wanna see and do

Hi there
My husband and I will be taking the Nov 13 cruise to Mexico. We are in our late 40's and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for activities on board that you found fun.
Also any suggestions for the different ports? Likes and dislikes?
I'm trying to do my homework ahead of time so we can make the most out of our time and I think actual cruisers are the best source of info! 😊

I don't see any thing going on looking on line .... When I lived in Mexico it was usually done in school by the children dressing up that day. Not much more than that.

On November 20th our ship will be in Cabo and according to the calendar it is Revolution Anniversary I was wonder anyone know if there will be Fiestas also will it be safe?? I know they like to shoot off guns during holidays ...

Look at the shore excursions from Princess, they will give you an idea. Manzanillo has a couple of cool resorts, only port shopping. The other ports are okay. If you have never been before..stick to excursions for your own safety.

Stick to the Cruiselines excursions though thats what we where warned also bring mosqito repellent ... other than that ive also been told get the insurance ... but we declined and are taken lots of pepto ... do not drink frozen or iced drinks in mexico unless from resort and do not drink water unless bottled ....

I believe you're referring to the speciality restaurants. We've been to the Crown Grill many times. You pay $25 per person for as many items as you want on their special menu. The menu is on the wall next to the entrance. No tipping necessary. They have a 22 oz Porterhouse, New Yorks, Filet Mignon, Rib steaks - bone in or bone out and 5 oz lobster tails. We each had rib steaks and 9 lobster tails.
