I do my own thing having been there before. See the fort. Shopping then dinner and back to the shop. It is Easy to get around and see stuff. If you want to tag along with another couple let us know.

natalielouise1993   Nov 22, 2016 - 6:30 pm

Yeah I agree. I think we are going to do it. Not sure if the other couple with us will though because they only really drink wine and we can bring two bottles per stateroom.

Here is the way I look at it. I will certainly do evoking soda etc. that's 8.50 a day so the incremental cost for the booze package is really 36 before the mandatory gratuity. At the top end of 12 per drink that's only 3 cocktails. I know 800 sounds like a lot for 2 people. But broken down by day ain't bad

I looked all over the place online and on cruise critic, they listed shows for every one but freedom of the seas. I'm starting to feel like they don't have a broadway show on this ship! 😳

natalielouise1993   Nov 14, 2016 - 12:36 pm

Haha questions are welcome. I shall probably ask just as many about the US, it is my favourite place to travel to. I am also pretty easy to spot in swimwear, I have a rather large tiger tattoo on my left thigh. I shall see you there!

I'm a larger guy with a few visible tattoos. Easy to spot. Don't be shy! Just be warned, I'll probably ask way to many questions about the UK. Lol

natalielouise1993   Nov 14, 2016 - 12:30 pm

Well if I do I'll be sure to say hello. Will be nice to put a face to the awesome advice! Thanks for the help.

When I was on the Oasis, it had the same hot tubs and I found myself in them very often. Yes you probably will see me there! Haha

natalielouise1993   Nov 14, 2016 - 12:19 pm

I've only ever been on the Navigator of RC cruises and it doesn't have the panoramic whirlpools on the side so I am looking forward to those! I will most likely see you there!

edwardchr   Nov 14, 2016 - 12:14 pm

That's where I'll be spending most of my time! In one of 2 hot tubs overlooking the ocean in the solarium!

natalielouise1993   Nov 14, 2016 - 12:12 pm

I had heard that but wasn't sure how religiously that was followed in practice. I'll probably drink plenty to be worth it then! Cocktails on the beach are only rivalled by cocktails in the Jacuzzi!

edwardchr   Nov 14, 2016 - 10:56 am

You do know that when we are in Haiti, our drink packages will work in that port because RC owns that port. The buffet food will be free, and anyone with a drink package will be able to use it on that port. Can't beat a cocktail on the beach!

natalielouise1993   Nov 14, 2016 - 10:34 am

I think on an average both myself and my husband will do that easily, might struggle on port days but think it would be a lot more than that on days on the ship. Plus I'm a sucker for the cocktail menu! Thanks for the input 😊. We are flying in from the UK the day before so technically only 109days I suppose!

Will you drink any drinks at least 5 times a day? Coffee, soda, water, or alcohol? If so it's worth getting. I spent 800 dollars *gasp* for my gf and I for the same cruise as you, for us to have the ultimate packages. It's a lot less stressful knowing both her and I can have any drink we want, as much as we want.

natalielouise1993   Nov 14, 2016 - 7:16 am

110days!! Starting to get excited now. Still unsure whether to get the drinks package though...

Hi! First time on a cruise & looking for some info for stop in SAN Juan, Puerto Rico. Mainly a great place to have dinner! Something nice but not outrageous in price! Also other things to do that won't take up all day, excursions seem to take up the entire day! Thank you ahead of time for your feedback!

Last 2 cruises I went on, I was able to see and book the shows 6 months in advance. This cruise still does not have the shows posted.

Does anyone know what the current shows are on Freedom of the seas?! We can't reserve anything.

We're interested in booking a private 4 hour tour of El Yunque, leave from pier 2pm, return 6pm. Cost is about $350 for the entire group of (up to) 8 people. Hoping to get interest from 2-3 more couples to dilute the cost. Party of 8 would only run $35pp, and the tour is private, allowing for more time and flexibility in exploring this area. Any interest? Thanks!! Meg & David

It's with Phil Dirt and the Dozers an oldies group out of Columbus Ohio they are awesome but I believe you have to go to their travel agent and web site to book it to go to the shows. We've seen them many times not only the music is great but the laugh and joke around too

decadesofrockandroll   Aug 23, 2016 - 10:26 pm

Just wondering who is on this cruise as the Decades Of Rock & Roll cruise group? It's a big music cruise group on Freedom Of The Seas March 4-12, 2017 out of Ft Lauderdale.
