Cabs and shuttles wtg on standby when you get off the ship. You cam also find an über for cheap too.

jsclaf01   Oct 26, 2016 - 1:12 pm

Cockelshell Beach. Go to a spot called the spice mill. Its a Short drive by cab thru the countryside, stop at a bluff overlooking the Carribbean on the Right and The Atlantic on the left, the view will take your breath away. Then back down the Mountain to the beach. There are green Monkeys pretty much everywhere you go on St Kitts.

jamesbolling   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:29 am

It's very Americanized

krazykitty   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:28 am

jamesbolling   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:26 am

Depends aid you are looking for more fine dining go to marmalade or if looking for some cheaper local food could try cafe manolin old San Juan...or do some research on trip advisor always a great tool to use

krazykitty   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:18 am

Can you suggest a restaurant?

krazykitty   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:17 am

Me too, I've been told that I have to go to shipwreck Beach to see the wild monkeys...

rbflyer   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:16 am

Very easy. The port is not far at all from the airport either.

rbflyer   Oct 26, 2016 - 9:15 am

This will be my first time in all of our ports. Anyone been to St Kitts? I am looking for suggestions on what to do there.

jamesbolling   Oct 26, 2016 - 7:22 am

Walk old town and go to the forts then end with a tour of the Bacardi factory

krazykitty   Oct 25, 2016 - 9:23 pm

Hi everyone... Super excited with only 45 days to go. We're going to be in San Juan on our anniversary, any suggestions on where to go and what to do?

krazykitty   Oct 25, 2016 - 9:19 pm

I got it today!!!

krazykitty   Oct 25, 2016 - 9:19 pm

Super easy, there will be multiple taxi's waiting

scmanuel   Oct 25, 2016 - 1:11 pm

How easy is to get a taxi at Port Everglades cruise terminal? We have an early flight and cannot use the cruise line Transportaion service.

Thanks in advance for the help.

yelsel71   Oct 24, 2016 - 10:11 pm

Hi ken and dawn, they are not ship sponsored that I'm aware of but I have friends who did Bernard's, reviews are great on cruise critic as well as tripadvisor. They guarantee that your back to the boat on time. They'd be out of business otherwise. We don't book with the cruise lines very often because they are too expensive. I just make sure I do my research before I book with tour companies.

jamesbolling   Oct 24, 2016 - 9:51 pm

Double check all the others I know on this cruise got it today too

krazykitty   Oct 24, 2016 - 9:50 pm

Ok, I check pretty much everyday, I'll keep trying. Thanks

jamesbolling   Oct 24, 2016 - 9:45 pm

Nope just checked my online account at RC and they were there today

krazykitty   Oct 24, 2016 - 9:36 pm

Did they email you?

jamesbolling   Oct 24, 2016 - 9:15 pm

Got them today

krazykitty   Oct 24, 2016 - 1:43 pm

jamesbolling   Oct 20, 2016 - 3:32 pm

yelsel71   Oct 18, 2016 - 10:31 am

Hi Everyone! this is what we'll be doing...Labadee - nothing lol, beach chairs are free, the kids (17,20) have their own snorkels and masks
San Juan - Old San Juan and I read there is a free trolley that takes you around and it also goes to the forts $5 entry good for both. St Maarten doing Bernard's tour $45 and St Kitts doing Thenford Greys Capitol and Beach tour $25. Only 53 more sleeps!

kenanddawn   Oct 17, 2016 - 9:01 pm

scmanuel   Oct 15, 2016 - 12:13 pm

Old San Juan is within walking distance from the terminal. There is plenty to see. El Morro Fort is part of the Park Service. Entrance is a few dollars. El Convento is a place to stop. The town will have the Christmas decorations everywhere.

kenanddawn   Oct 14, 2016 - 9:49 pm

Thanks Jude and James

JudeJoy   Oct 14, 2016 - 12:20 pm

ES 17th it is!

JudeJoy   Oct 14, 2016 - 12:18 pm

I would love any inexpensive ideas for St Kitts if anyone has some. 😎

JudeJoy   Oct 14, 2016 - 12:17 pm

I have been researching inexpensive port days as well. For us in Labadee, a beach mat for me $15and the waterslide for 9 year old. $25. In San Juan, a walk around old Town and back to the ship for lunch. St Maarten , a water taxi to downtown and beach. ( you can walk to beach and downtown too, save the $7 ish pp

jamesbolling   Oct 14, 2016 - 11:56 am

Welcome! Some of the ports like PR you can just get off the boat and walk around and they have a free trolley. Tons of websites to do research on like royal carribean blog or cruise critic

kenanddawn   Oct 14, 2016 - 12:51 am

Thank James

jamesbolling   Oct 13, 2016 - 10:31 am

Just enjoy the beaches and the ship; don't let it ruin your fun! Also look at trip advisor can find the excursions cheaper there

kenanddawn   Oct 13, 2016 - 1:22 am

Ok finally have the cruise paid, the airfare paid and hotel and car..which leaves next to nothing for excursions. Any ideas how to enjoy our ports on the cheap? Four people can add up quick on my wallet. Advice welcome...thanks!

sanders48   Oct 12, 2016 - 6:06 am

Embassy suites 17th street

JudeJoy   Oct 11, 2016 - 8:49 am

Yes, "self disembarkment" , thanks! We booked an earlyish flight home, so fingers crossed.

rbflyer   Oct 11, 2016 - 4:36 am

I am assuming the OP meant self disembarkment. When you carry your own bags off the ship.

jamesbolling   Oct 10, 2016 - 9:26 pm

Walk off?

rbflyer   Oct 10, 2016 - 4:35 pm

Yes they offer walk off. I sailed on Freedom in June out of Port Canaveral. She is a great ship.

JudeJoy   Oct 10, 2016 - 10:49 am

Can anyone suggest a good pre night hotel? Also, Does anyone know if the Freedom offers "walk off" at disembarkment? Thanks!!
