I'm also taking advantage of the casino offer, $288 for an 8 Days/ 7 night cruise, that's a no-brainer!!! I hope we won't be bored on this ship after being on the Oasis of the Seas 3 months ago.

You can take 2 bottles of wine per stateroom carry on - but they say no cases of water on their website. However people have put a luggage tag on one and been allowed so worth trying. Worse case scenario is you don't get the water delivered and you loose the couple bucks you spent on the water.

This will be my first cruise and I'm really excited. My kids and I have excursions in Belize & Honduras but nothing in planned in Mexico.
Can I take a case of water and 2 bottles of wine on the ship?

Maybe we'll take a walk around The port area in cozumel, but at this point, quiet times around the pool with a book, a drink and some sun screen are in my future โ˜€๐Ÿšข๐Ÿน

I think we are going to pass on the excursions as well - what are you doing at each port?
We are thinking real low key beach days and a bit of shopping

1st time for us on smaller ship. I have read comments that it was more personable and they have a nightly midnight buffet

The casino offer was a month ago. When you donate to the casino they sometimes offer you reduced fare or fully comp'd cabins for a cruise. You pay port fees and taxes only and cabin is on the house sometimes they include drinks while donating on the casino offer cruise. Not sure how they choose who to offer what but I've gotten reduced fare offers before. This was my first comp'd fare offer.

Costa Maya is probably your best bet for ruins. They have quite a few within an hour of the port. Cozumel has some less famous/toured ruins but it's better suited for a beach day ๐Ÿ˜Š

Booked with the casino offer. My first small Royal Caribbean ship, but for $288 with 7 days and 4 ports, I figured I'd give it a try before our Feb Allure cruise.
Anyone returning to this ship or tried other small RCI ships and have some input to share?
I just did a carnival for the first time with some friends. It was small, little bit bigger than empress but the overall experience wasn't great
