My wife is organising a private tour for Margaret River. Still have places on the bus if anyone would like to join the group:-

November 9 - Wine Tasting Tour and Bushtucker Lunch

http://bushtuckertours.com/ 6.5 hours

Due to popular demand I am organising a similar tour to one that is already full. The itinerary will be staggered so we do not overwhelm the various stops.

"Enjoy 20 tastings before and after lunch. Laughter, fun and knowledge make this a brilliant Australian day out. Wine making to wine judging is covered by your qualified guide at our favourite Estates. All tastings are pre-booked to ensure service to our customers is a priority. Visit famous places for brilliant photo opportunities."

9.15am pick up from the port

10am Margaret River Chocolate Factory
An amazing range of chocolate (edibles with tastings and chocolate body products), as well as viewing windows to see the products being made.

10.20am Margaret River Fonti Dairy Company
Award-winning premium quality cheeses & yoghurts

10.45am Churchview Estate Winery
Distinguished winemaking, distinctive flavours.

11.30 am Sandalford Winery
At the Margaret River Estate you can sample and purchase Sandalford's complete range of Estate Reserve, Margaret River Range and Element wines, as well as the fortified Founders Reserve Liqueur Port, Botryitis Semillon and Sandalera. You can also discover and purchase a variety of local artwork, wine accessories and Sandalford merchandise

12.30 Knotting Hill Winery Lunch spot for gourmet Bushtucker lunch.
Your experienced guide will help you discover some of the region’s best kept secrets, and serve up an amazing bushtucker lunch with more than 15 wild food dishes in a winery setting. Seasonal foods include kangaroo, crocodile, emu, bush tomatoes and the ever popular witchetty grub. (Vegetarians catered for).

2pm Woody Nook Winery
Over the past fifteen years, Woody Nook has collected more than 300 awards, including 8 Trophies, 40+ Gold medals and 50+ Silver medals in some of the country’s most prestigious wine competitions, not just in Western Australia, but also in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Hong Kong, the USA and the United Kingdom

2.45pm Sampson and Bowen – Black Brewery (optional if group wishes to visit)

Return back to jetty at 3.30 to 3.45pm

This is for a private group tour on a 13 seater bus, which is customised to collect from the port and return, to safely arrive in plenty of time before sailing. The above itinerary is subject to change as guides book their itineraries on the morning of the tour and change the itineraries to keep things fresh.

The cost of a Private Winery & Brewery Tour in a 13 seater Coach is $1,150 AUD which is a bus price not a per person price. The price per person is $88.50 AUD for 13 passengers.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking (when we get enough people) and full payment is due by 9 October at the latest, with either credit card or bank transfer direct to the company. Guests can pay separately through the website (details will be given to you once we have 13 guests. Payment can be done individually so everyone is responsible for their own tour payments once the group is formed.

Please note the tour company require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations of Private Tours and the price quoted is a per bus price.

Has anyone got any recommendations for excursions on this cruise? This will be our second cruise and first with princess. Any advice would be grateful.
