How can I tell you all that I am more than ready for these few short 3 days to unplug?!?

sjcruiser36   Dec 01, 2016 - 11:38 am

Yes, I'll be the Liberty during this sailing.

sissylieb   Dec 01, 2016 - 11:37 am

awesome are you going on this ship too

sjcruiser36   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:42 am

Oh, the Riviera is by Oceania. A little out of my league!!!! lol

sjcruiser36   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:40 am

The Disney Dream, The Riviera, and the Norwegian Escape are in port with us the day we're there. I've never heard of the Riviera, so maybe it's a small ship or private yacht.

jheadrick75   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:40 am

Thanks the tips!!! I'm ready...we are actually coming in from Texas on the 20th and are spending a couple days at Disney :-)....two adults acting like kids...hahaha

sissylieb   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:38 am

oh cool

sjcruiser36   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:37 am

Think since it's a holiday weekend, some prepanning is in order. I haven't checked to see how many ships are in port that day, but will do so later tonight.

sjcruiser36   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:35 am

All of the ones sissylieb mentioned are good for Nassau. You can also do the tour/Aquarium/Beach/Pool day at the Atlantis. There's also a free beach to the right of the pier just past Senor Frogs which a lot of people don't know about. We usually just hit the main shopping area to grab a few things, then head over to the Atlantis for the casino and some shopping at the stores on the property.

Hi guys, anybody sailing dec 22 from Port Canaveral to Bahamas on the Liberty? Add me!

sissylieb   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:31 am

I am

sissylieb   Dec 01, 2016 - 10:30 am

hi, yeah it changed, I don't know why they haven't fixed it yet. I'm sailing the 22nd of dec! They have a lot of excursions, private island beach day, native quest, swim with dolphins, snorkel, sea and see tour, tropical atv 4 hours, reef adventure, scuba diving with gear, beach safari, parasail, paddle boarding, bar hopping and more....

jheadrick75   Nov 28, 2016 - 9:46 pm

This cruise is now the Liberty, so it took me a while to figure that out :-) I've never been on this short of a cruise; what type of excursions are best??

sjcruiser36   Nov 24, 2016 - 8:48 am

Welcome to everyone that recently joined, and Happy Thanksgiving.

sjcruiser36   Nov 11, 2016 - 6:25 am

No changes can be made to bookings at this time. Stayed tuned, or post information that you may have if you try to make changes.

sjcruiser36   Nov 11, 2016 - 6:24 am

Our ship just changed to the Liberty from the Valor which will be heading to Galveston. The Liberty has been having propulsion problems as of lately, so Carnival is stating the Valor is better suited for speeds needed for longer cruises. Check you emails.

sjcruiser36   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:15 am

No problem, that's what we're here for!!! I'm so glad someone finally joined the forum. I know the ship has a steady booking rate, so I don't know where everyone is at!!! lol

karlabee   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:14 am

Wow, thank you for all your help! I can get the price info for the rental, but you've been wonderful. I really appreciate it!

sjcruiser36   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:12 am

What's your arrival date, maybe I can find the price for one way rental.

sjcruiser36   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:10 am

The car is worth it on your inbound trip to have some freedom to get around, but if your leaving right out after the cruise, a shuttle (Carnival or other), may be the best bet.

sjcruiser36   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:09 am

Alamo, Thrift and Enterprise all have one way rentals to and from the airport to port Canaveral.

sjcruiser36   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:06 am

I know some of the car rental agencies have offices a block a two away, and you can do a one way rental to and from the airport, and they'll take you to the pier if you drop off the car the morning the ship departs. Let me check on which ones.

sjcruiser36   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:05 am

Do you want to stay closer to the airport or to the pier? Country Inn and Suites and the Radisson is across from the port, and have shuttle service to the ships, but not the airport.

karlabee   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:03 am

karlabee   Sep 16, 2016 - 11:02 am

Are there any veteran sailors who know of a shuttle service to and from the airport, hotel, and port? I'm flying to MCO airport and renting a car... seems silly to rent a car and then pay for parking while on the boat, but I'm not finding affordable alternatives. I'm coming into Orlando the day before the cruise and leaving the day we return to port. Thanks!

sjcruiser36   Jun 22, 2016 - 11:13 am

Anyone else going on this cruise?
