Now that we are in Nassau for 2 days, would anyone be interested in setting up a half day fishing charter for Nov 1?

They probably figure they have to pay for 2 days port fees in Nassau

Contributor Level: Deck Hand

tommycruises73   Oct 27, 2016 - 5:02 pm

Thats incredibly disappointing, especially as this is our first experience. I understood that the itinerary could change but not getting reimbursed fees we paid seems wrong

This is our first cruise. Is that something we should expect to get back with losing a port?

26chaser
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

26chaser   Oct 27, 2016 - 4:50 pm

Port fees should run around just over 50 pp

Carnival's Liquor and Beverage Consumption Policy Guest has long prohibited guests from bringing alcoholic beverages onboard. But one can still carry on up to 12 unopened cans or cartons of water, soda and non-alcoholic beverages per person during embarkation, the cruise line said in a statement. Not sure about snacks.

26chaser   Oct 23, 2016 - 1:15 pm

I will be on the 30th cruise also but was told today that they were still not sure on Freeport. I know several people have voiced the opinion that they did not want an overnight in Nassau but would like either Grand Turk or at least Key West. I hope not an overnight it's a duel anniversary/wife's birthday cruise

Does anyone have any advice on the benefits of buying cruise cash ahead of time? I can buy it today from the Fun Shops in Cdn funds so I will save the exchange rate but what happens if it is unused?

I would love to hear thoughts on the steakhouse and if everyone feels it is worthwhile. Should we bring our boys (13 and 14) or let them head to Club O2 while we enjoy parents time?
