These storms are supposed to clear out by midday. I hope everyone has safe travels to the port, and everyone enjoys this cruise! I'll be the curly-haired girl with a constant glass of champagne in my hand.

You can order it from room service. We like to put the breakfast form out the night before and enjoy coffee and croissants each morning.

You can Google it. I think the price is about half what the port costs.

mlwilliams
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

mlwilliams   Jan 10, 2017 - 11:58 pm

I was literally fixing to post the same question! We are on the same cruise! I've been told Fulton is good, so I think we are going to try that...

jujubo
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

jujubo   Jan 10, 2017 - 11:38 pm

If you choice Fulton, I suggest you drop off you luggage at the port to the porters and than go park. You won't have to worry about transporting your luggage with you on the shuttle.

rhondaclifford
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

rhondaclifford   Jan 10, 2017 - 11:36 pm

How much do they charge

jujubo
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

jujubo   Jan 10, 2017 - 11:34 pm

You can park at the port. You can also check Fulton Street parking. They will transport you to and from the port. Both are safe to leave your car. The port is more convenient, but more expensive.

rhondaclifford

rhondaclifford   Jan 10, 2017 - 10:58 pm

treeluvr87

treeluvr87   Jan 10, 2017 - 8:28 am

Yes, you can carry your own luggage on, but it might take you longer to get through the security check. Enjoy your first cruise!

jujubo
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

jujubo   Jan 06, 2017 - 8:48 pm

You can use the Porter at the port and they will bring it to your room. Usually a dollar tip per bag. Or you can carry it on the ship yourself.

MobyMule
Contributor Level: Deck Hand

MobyMule   Dec 30, 2016 - 11:00 am

We are doing the cheers package this time. From what I can see it looks worth it if you get 6-8 drinks in a day. Also we brought a power strip for the room without surge protection. Couple of 12 packs of sodas last time. Magnetic clips to hold the shower curtain down. It helps put some weight on it. Also brought a refillable water bottle.

Some of the gift cards can be bought at a discount, like paying $90 for a $100 gift card. Then you can apply the gift cards to your sail and sign onboard, so sometimes we buy them in advance as a way to save up for onboard expenses.

classicme1975   Sep 27, 2016 - 9:32 am

Always use a credit card. I don't use a debit card cause they pull out money from your account and hold it till days after the cruise even if you don't use any. My brother uses cash and he has no problem. As long as you are checking your balance on the kiosks around the ship either way is fine to make sure you're not going over your budget.
