What time are you arriving

dixone8   Sep 07, 2016 - 10:53 am

Hello Tim and Jeanette. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Eric and my wife is jennifer and we will be sailing with you in December. We have a daughter 11 who will be with us and we are trying to get to know a few others on the boat. Back in the 80s I was in cozumel and then it was just a sparsely populated place. But just as any where you'd go you just need to use common sense. I believe my family and I are swimming with the dolphins there. After that we are going to be swimming with the stingrays and sharks at the next port. Then on to a zoo where we can handle monkeys large birds and other animals and at our last port of call we are going to take a large sail boat out to a reef and snorkel. How to see you on the boat .

tomandjeanette   Aug 28, 2016 - 12:11 pm

Going on Breeze Dec. 18 need to know what to do in each port, where to steer clear of also. We will be traveling with two adult children (18/20) . We will port in Cozumel, Belize, Mahogany bay, Costa Maya. Thanks!

valorier17   Aug 22, 2016 - 5:46 pm

Ok, I'm going out on a limb herr and trying to find out if anyone else on the Dec. 18th cruise is coming in late on the 16th to Hobby airport and going to Galveston that same day. Would love to find a shuttle share. Anyone interested? There is my husband and myself. Just thought it could be cheaper that way since Carnival only offers shuttles from airport day of cruise.

dixone8   Aug 11, 2016 - 8:16 pm

My wife and I just sat down to look at the excursion choices for each port. From swimming with dolphins, rays and sharks, to pirates monkeys and snorkeling. Really looking forward to it.

dixone8   Aug 11, 2016 - 12:01 pm

Sounds great. Looking foward to it.

kristinerin   Aug 11, 2016 - 11:59 am

As of now out group has three girls, two who will be 8 and the other is 10 or 11. Maybe we'll set up a meet and greet so the kids can meet each other and make friends.

What are the best beach excursions in Costa Maya for mom and 9 year old son. With and without booking through Carnival.

valorier17   Jul 10, 2016 - 5:34 pm

Does anyone know if the Coffee Bar and other places like this are inclusive with the Cheers package?

gottabeme   Jul 02, 2016 - 10:07 am

We will be on the same cruise. There is also a FB group.

valorier17   Jun 05, 2016 - 7:24 pm

Sounds amazing! We are really looking forward to having the Fun Ship experience!

kristinerin   Jun 05, 2016 - 7:21 pm

I've sailed with Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Disney and Carnival is now the only cruise line I sail on. Carnival is much more laid back and fun, hence the name the "Fun Ship". Now when I say laid back by no means does that have anything to do with the level of service provided. We just got off the Breeze today and had a fantastic time!!! much so that I booked this cruise while still onboard.

Zelimir, or Z as he said we could call him, was our stateroom steward and he rocked. My daughter lost a tooth at breakfast one morning and of course had to tell everyone. When she told Z he told her to make sure she put the tooth under her pillow before we went to dinner because he knew "her" tooth fairy would come. As soon as we finished eating that night daughter ran back to the room and under her pillow was a little stuffed animal, a cat, and a handwritten letter from Z where he referred to,himself as her tooth fairy.

Our dining room team, Marwin, Minivan and Thomas were great too! They celebrated birthdays, for both my daughter and my niece, even though it wasn't their birthday but because they wouldn't be able to sing to them on their actual birthdays. On nights where it wasn't too busy Thomas would make both of the girls intricate origami animals......we came home with a frog, a cat and a swan.

It's just different, at least for me.

kristinerin   Jun 05, 2016 - 7:04 pm

My daughter will be 8.

We just got off the Breeze today, FANTASTIC!!! So much so that I booked this cruise (12/18) while still onboard. We didn't eat at the steakhouse so I can't help you there. However, we did eat at Cucina del Capitano and Bonsai Sushi. Cucina has some incredible Italian food but the trick is to go at lunchtime because it's free of charge at lunch. At lunch you pick what type of pasta you want, select the sauce and then add whatever additional deliciousness you like (shrimp, chicken, sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.). Of course the have salad and bread too. If you go for dinner it's $15/adult and $5/child. For an adult that includes two appetizers, an entree with a side and a dessert. I had calamari and arincini as my appetizers and chicken parmigiana as my entree with a side of spaghetti. The calamari was great as was the chicken parmigiana. I didn't think the desserts were any better than the desserts I can get elsewhere in the ship. We enjoyed our dinner there but for us we much preferred the offerings that were available at lunch. I ate at Bonsai Sushi on the last day. They bring you edamame (at no cost) and it was very fresh. I had miso soup, a california roll and a tempura roll and all were great! I believe it cost $14.

Dont know, never went the first night

hmbgz4   Jun 04, 2016 - 8:45 am

Jjones0722, do you know if the steakhouse still offers the free bottle of wine if you go the first night?

jjones0722   Jun 03, 2016 - 12:23 pm

Will be on the same cruise. Have not sailed the Breeze before but have been on the two sister ships. The Steakhouse is well worth the added cost.

andyterrie37   May 29, 2016 - 10:25 pm

Any thoughts about eating at the specialty restaurant's on Carnival Breeze? We're taking an 8 day Christmas Cruise this year-any input would be appreciated!

valorier17   May 04, 2016 - 12:56 pm

I have no expectations. We just enjoy them all. Was just wondering if anyone knows the differences. We will have a good time no matter what. I learned long ago not to have any expectations. This way one is never disappointed. :)   Apr 29, 2016 - 9:33 am
