The ship is nice, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is relaxed for the most part. However, the cruise-ship felt very crowded. Especially at both the Caribe and Horizon breakfast/lunch buffet areas. There were so many people and it was stressful trying to find a table. In our family we had to divide; while some secured a table others would stand in line to enter the buffet area. This happened twice every day! Not so relaxed for being on vacation.

For families, this kind of travel is very convenient. Our 4 year-old loved the kids club area and every day they had fun activities for them. This also gave us the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed dinner at the Botticelli Dining Hall, where dinner options got better every day, and the staff was very courteous and friendly.

We really enjoyed our vacation on Princess Cruises and had a wonderful time and experience. But I do need to mention that hygiene should be very important in cruise-ships as diseases can spread faster among passengers; there was actually a spread of Norovirus on the same cruise-ship a week prior to our trip and I don't think Princess Cruises did a very good job dealing with this issue. As we got to our stateroom the very first day, we noticed our shower was not clean and the carpet needed vacuuming. The staff did take care of it promptly after we pointed it out. Also, I think men should not be allowed to enter the buffet area with sleeveless shirts (I don't think I need to go over the detail here, it's self-explanatory), and the use of anti-bacterial gel should be enforced (the Purell stations are already there, but not all passengers use it before entering the buffet area). 

Important also to point here is the cruise staff. They work very hard, and in our experience they were very friendly and helpful.
