What a trip! Japan is a beautiful place, with a long rich culture & history. Complicated, sometimes tortured, but immensely interesting - especially to a history buff like me. Only thing I would do differently is I would try to avoid the November school field trip season. The museums were particularly crowded due to the children. Having said that, they were all extremely polite, respectful & well behaved.

A wonderfully relaxing way to see a lot of Japan and some of South Korea. Beginning in Tokyo and ending in Seoul allowed for planning some pre and post cruise days to enjoy these cities.

A very memorable cruise for us, and it really helped us to understand better the history and lives in these Asian countries, especially Indonesia. Viking made the journey even better with their outstanding service, and beautiful ship.

Wrong embarkation information caused us the hotel reserved probelm.

We purchased the post cruise extension to Varanasi. The city is okay but the excusions in the evening and early morning to the Ganges to see the rituals was amazing. Highly recommend

Overall cruise was a great experience with my best friend. We had a nice time visiting places and chatting together our past and childhood days, o our family and grandchildren.

All in All, amazing cruise. Wonderful bc of our reunion w/family. & to had spent it @ a foreign countries to enjoy the food, areas, sight-seeing. It was a cruise trip to remember by.

It was our first time on HAL. Disappointed that ports were changed but the captain kept our safety in mind.

We've sailed on the Noordam before, as well as other Holland America cruises. I would not recommend this itinerary at this time, due to the risk of rain, cold, and typhoons. Still, we had a good relaxing time, and do not regret it at all. The Noordam should be a better ship after its upcoming dry dock.

Great to experience another RC ship in a different market. Would go on it again.

The horrible medical staff handling of our Covid was awful and made this cruise a horror. The humidity was also terible but not the fault of cruiseline.

The main reason I went on this Cruise was because of the ports of call. I wish I had picked a different Cruise Line or at least a different ship. It was definitely not my demographic

Japan is a very clean, very quiet, polite populace, interesting country to visit. Not sure if you need to visit 14 cities. Would have preferred more information about their economy, how the automobile and electronics industries became so dominant and more about their daily lives. 53 days was a bit too long. Cut back on the number of cities to 9 or 10 and shorten the cruise

The tour offered by your site in Honolulu was awful. 1. The tour was scheduled to begin at 0700 and began at 0750 2. The tour was supposed to include a small credit/coupon for lunch and did not. 3. The tour was supposed to be 7-hour tour and was a 5-hour tour 4. Hope to see a partial refund for this tour. 5. The tour in Hilo was excellent.

Loved Japan. But it's very hot and humid in September. If I go again it would be in November or April

This was a great cruise and I would choose it again.

The ABSOLUTE WORST RC CRUISE IVE EVER BEEN ON!!! I've never been so disappointed & disgusted in my life. I'm so upset that I paid so much $ for the cruise, flight & hotels, especially having sailed RC so much being a Diamond member. There was actually 3 staff that actually cared. A majority of them could not understand English which is beyond me why they didn't. I've never been pushed shoved almost spit on, walked in spit, water thrown on me & walked into so much in my life. Even tho I'm extremely upset & disgusted I will probably continue to sail with RC. Why? Probably because I've always had a pretty good experience. But it sure would be nice to get some compensation from RC, even tho I know it'll never happen, so thanks RC for a terrible trop of a lifetime!!

Overall, this itinerary was great but could have used some sea days in between the last stretch of port days. Things got a little busy toward the end of the trip but it was still enjoyable. While the Diamond Princess is an older ship, she has a lot of charm and great service. The OceanNow delivery was great, with only a few minor hiccups.

Overall great experience. The people are really what make or break a cruise for me and everyone was good overall. Some logistical improvements would improve the experience.

Great experience, would sail with Celebrity again. Only negative was three family members got covid.
