Disappointing! Buffet was terrible and food in dining room and specialty restaurants just OK. Service was excellent throughout the ship and staff was friendly and helpful. Entertainment was poor and production shows were elaborate but confusing and singer by antiguajudy

It was disappointing. We cruise often and this cruise probably our least enjoyable.

Although this was only my third cruise, Celebrity just became my preferred cruise line! I even booked another cruise while on the ship.

So Good! by dnaruns

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Voyager of the Seas

Galveston is too far from Fla, too much extraneous travel to get there. This was a trial run since I had to be in San Antonio for something else. Would not go to Galveston again unless it was connected to another function. Voyager is clean, friendly, smaller and I did like that. Always check your daily expenditures, and if you decide to change your back-up credit card, check that balance for accuracy before making the switch. It is hard to correct ship generated errors after the fact.

Western Carib Cruise by Mark028

Overall a good cruose. Ports of call were touristy and not anywhere I'd go again, but the ship was good and we had a good time.

Family Cruise by 1983mcgehee

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Voyager of the Seas

We were a group of 12, me, my adult children and my grandchildren. Some had cruised before and some were anxious about having little ones, but by the end of the second day, all were hooked! VOTS does not have a splash pad for small children, but there was so much to do. Some of the grandbabies went to the Adventure Ocean and loved it!!

Smooth Sailing by GoChiefs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Dream

The port destinations and available excursions were good. The prices for drinks seemed higher than expected. The cabin had not been updated since there was one electrical outlet at the desk to charge all the electronic devices so you definitely need to pack an multi-outlet electrical extension.

Good Cruise, beautiful weather. by monkfun

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seaside

This was our first cruise ever, and we did join three other couples (family and friends) who also attended, but they have been on numerous cruises prior. All of them noted, this was not as enjoyable as some other cruises they have been on. Jewelry store "Effy' was doing promo of free bracelet and charms nightly - man in charge was annoying and you had to hear a 30 min presentation every night! This got old very quickly as it was the same 'blah blah blah' each night and a couple of the sales people, the main man included, were a bit insulting, which a number of us present did not care for. Felt like he had to 'talk down' to everyone - they may want to look at a more enjoyable personality. All of the MSC staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

Awesome Vacation Cruise by Cruiser44621876

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mardi Gras

The ship was HUGE and nice. We took advantage of a cabana on Loft 19 and they treated us like royalty there. Our cabin Stewart (Mario) was awesome! I would do this again but remember to bring our passport next time. Fortunately Diane (our Cruise Advisor) walked us through getting by without it. Otherwise we would have missed the boat. Thanks Diane!!!

Very enjoyable by lindadiaz77

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Breeze

Cruise director Kevin is top notch. There's something for everyone to do. Attention to service by crew is obvious. If you have no fun, you have a problem. If you want to relax in quiet cabins are well appointed and there are plenty of quiet spaces away from the action. SUGGESTION. As smoking sections are scant, I found it largely irritating that during the entire cruise, people were placing backpacks and bags on chairs in order to reserve them. Example. I was wanting to sit at a chair by the rail overlooking the pool area and since the sun was hitting the smoking section at the time, no one was sitting at that section but there were back packs sitting on a chair. When I say at a chair next to the one with a backpack a lady standing behind in the shade with a small group informed me those seats were reserved and that's why the backpack was there. I answered that we all paid the same and it's not right what they were doing. Please address this issue for us poor smokers.

It wasn't what I expected by rarocho95

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mardi Gras

The food on the boat was not the best, in the buffets it was always the same meals few seasons for so many people, in the dinners in the restaurants the waits were long to serve the meals and the menu was not the best. The shows were repeated 2 times. Shops on different floors. In short, I don't think I'll travel with carnival again, it's my second time and I've already seen that it's not the best. I'm still traveling with Royal Caribean.

Fantastic friends and family fun! by K823

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Vista

The staff was wonderful everywhere we went. There needs to be a more streamlined process for people with food allergies. Several times my sister had to tell the staff about their allergies. Perhaps a detailed menu with all good items listed could be made available to those with allergies. Thank heavens we caught it in time each time. The staff didn’t know what was in each dish and often had to ask the kitchen. I’d had for anyone to experience a problem due to food allergies!
