I have to start off by saying that this was a nice ship. We have mainly been Carnival people and I must say that it was a welcomed change. I did have one issue with the ship that might pertain to others in the future. The splash pad rules are a little off for certain aged kids. The pad is split down the middle toddlers and other kids. I have two children a 4 and a 6 year old. The 4 year old is no longer in diapers and there for not able to go inside the toddlers pool. Only kids with shimmies are allowed on this side of the pad. The other side has a height requirements due to the water side. Unfortunately the 4 year old fell short on that part as well and was removed from the pad. The life guard was nice about but stated they couldn't even be in the play area without meeting the requirement. That was a little hard to swallow! I can see not letting the child on the slide feature. But she could of played with the water cannons or just jumped around in the pad. Sadly the little one had no place to splash and play.

Disney Dream

October 2017 - 3 Night Bahamas With Halloween On The High Seas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Disney Dream

We did this one as our first real family vacation. We had a ton of fun! My 4 year old son loved the play area and wouldn’t leave Andy’s playroom. The staff was amazing and took the time to make our kids and family feel special. The character meet and greets were super cool everyone took the time to talk to the kids, listen, and make our kids feel special and not rushed through the cue. Well worth every penny spent!

Cruise tips

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

This place was great! From the beach to the splash pad for the little ones. We all really enjoyed the private island. Best part of the cruise hands down!

Port Canaveral, Florida

Super easy and quick to get checked in! It was super cool to see the characters to help you pass the time till boarding. One of the best check in processes I have ever experienced
