An easy departure port to find. Nice parking garage close to the ship @ $20/day. Right next to classic old cruise ship, the Queen Mary, which is open to tour if you arrive early.

It was fun to spend a couple extra days here after the cruise, Long Beach has so much to offer and many places to explore as well as shopping and beach.

Stayed at The Maya hotel. Not nearly as pretty as their pictures, but the staff was outstanding and made me want to visit again! They have a free shuttle to the ship. The shuttle can also take you to restaurants within two miles of the hotel. Important because hotel food was VERY expensive.

Did not do any excursions. Appreciated that the parking garage was near the ship's boarding area, but wish it was cheaper.

The new terminal is simply awesome! And the staff are incredibly friendly, reassuring and professional! Travelers are made to feel at home the moment they step to the entrance of the terminal—and then to be greeted by the decor is such a bonus!

Parking lot is right across from the port. Easy access, safe, parking is $17 a day
