Easy embarking was on the ship by 11:15 in my cabin by 11:30. Terminal was clean and the people were quick and very efficient. Self debarkation was very quick was on the bus to LAX by 7:20. Very pleasant experience both ways.

Although we had an emergency medical another passenger off of the ship so we missed our first day in Cabo, then we couldn't stay on our second day due to unsafe weather conditions, Puerto Vallarta had hurricane Bud, so we were told we would visit Catalina, that was also unsafe, so we ended up in San Diego. We still had a great time in spite of missing our planed ports. The ship is beautiful, staff was great we especially loved our server Chip in the main restaurant and Nila our cocktail server. The food was really good. I would definitely Cruise this ship and with Carnival in general again.

Stayed the night before cruising at the Hotel Maya using their park & sail rate. Absolutely beautiful property and views. Lots to do in the Long Beach area, including an AquaBus for $1 from the dock right outside our hotel room. Took us across the bay to Shoreline Village (lots of food and shopping options). The hotel provided a shuttle to/from the cruise terminal. The cruise terminal was easy to navigate and the embarkation process was quick and easy. We had Faster To The Fun and were on the ship within 10 minutes. Next cruise is booked out of Long Beach and I’m looking forward to it!

This was the easiest port to navigate. It was clean and fast. Well organized and friendly staff Getting off the ship was just as easy. The transportation staff was super nice and helpful!

I love Long Beach and always have fun at the restaurants/bars along the marina before our cruise. Parking in the garage is easy and currently costs $19 per day, we were off the ship at about 7 AM and for some reason were not charged for parking at all when we left...bonus!

Thank you Norwegian Cruise Lines for putting a beautiful ship coming out of the Port of Los Angeles Seattle and Victoria the "Norwegian Joy" is moving to North America!!! I think this is amazing that they're doing this... and to paying attention to where the demand is. It seems mostly that lower end ships end up sailing out of Los Angeles. I think Cruise Lines don't realize how crazy expensive it is for customers to fly to Ports such as Miami especially when you're from Canada... limiting your options and affordability . I love the itineraries that come out of Los Angeles Victoria and Seattle and now there's the Norwegian Joy! ... Its comparable they say to the Norwegian Bliss... and is getting 50 Million in refurbishments. She will be appreciated here!! Can't wait to see you in Los Angeles and off to Mexico!

This was the best experience I have had on embarking. It was fast and easy and they let us board 2 hours early. We had a wonderful time. We had over 67 family members and no one had a problem
