Yes, we stayed in the Queen Mary prior to the cruise.

The old Spruce Goose hangar makes a very good place to board the ship and exit. We had Carnival provided shuttle to and from LAX that worked well. No long wait with faster to the fun. Worth the express boarding and the cabin being ready. We took our own luggage off the ship which was not that difficult with a good roller bag.

Just overnight at Marriott. Note my wife and I cruise for the sea days not big fans of port calls, after multiple trips on this itinerary we are totally content to stay on ship.

I really enjoyed our time in this port. We stayed at the quality inn which was a very great price and offered parking and shuttle service to and from the port which made it super easy. The people, food and shopping we're all superb. I'll be back. Also the terminal was super easy to navigate and get in and out of.

This was where the cruise began and ended. I did not know how large the port was. We ran into a few hiccups getting to the port but once we arrived it was "smooth sailing"

Loved getting to see the former Spruce Goose some getting used again. Carnival did a great job renovating this cruise port. Definitely a very unique interior and write memorable.

We parked in the parking lot right there by the terminal. It was easy getting in. Getting out was a nightmare. It took my husband over 30 minutes to get the car, get out of the garage and then come around and pick us up with our luggage.
