Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey Port Reviews

This port is a little rough around the edges with all the construction But very easy to get to if you are driving yourself. Parking was very easy to get in and out of as well. Unloading the luggage at the terminal and then parking went very smoothly.

When we got near the port there were not any signs on how to enter the port.

We could skip cocoa beach . Not a nice beach

Open air parking lot is expensive, but your only real option if you are driving in. The 9/11 memorial next to the port is very nice.

There is a 9-11 teardrop memorial right there. Drop your bags park the car and go see before boarding.

The port is easy to get to and the drop off/parking is quick and simple. Check in was super fast and the wait was simple and organized. Customer service was abundant and they were eager to help if need be.

Bayonne is okay. Cool view of nyc and everything verzono bridge but everything was slow and cold! Do not go in the winter! If you come around 7 you board at 11 if you come around 10:30 you board at 11:30.

We had a very late afternoon flight home so took the Manhattan Tour thru RCI with transfer to EWR airport included. The tour was very good and guide was a native New Yorker who was very knowlegeable. One stop was not far from Freedom Tower and located at waterfront. we had a beautiful view of Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and our ship parked across river in Bayonne. our next stop was the 9/11 memorial and we had enough time to see both fountains that were built in the footprints of the two towers but didn't have enough time to go into museum. we did have a chance to pickup a piece of pizza to take back to bus. We then rode up to Central Park area. We then headed out of Manhattan to EWR. All in all the tour was good and provided a good overview of Manhattan. We were at airport around 2:00.
