New York, New York Port Q&A

4.1
Looking for recommendations for mid-range $$ hotel within walking distance to Times Square for 5 night post- cruise stay. It doesn't need to be fancy but must be safe and included breakfast would be a bonus. I have spent countless hours looking on Trip Advisor but would prefer first hand experiences.

I will tell you The Row NYC has a great location and price but you should know they just landed a big federal contract to house homeless and illegals. also any hotel less than $200 a night you really need to look at its Google review and understand the ROOM SIZE and cleanliness. And of course book somthing refundable and keep checking prices. message me if any questions..I love talking nyc

April 15-April 20th, If you can swing it M Scocial on 52nd is very reasonably priced for those dates and is an awsome hotel. All the hilton properties are usually good , The Rui newyork on 46th has a huge breakfast buffet (not the rui Manhattan on 47th) I'm staying at the paramount for the first time this Wednesday, I have high hopes but I did splurge for one of the larger rooms.

Reasonable w breakfast although most diners are good and reasonable for breakfast. Look through choice hotels for comfort inns fairfield etc plenty in times square area. 100-200 per night. If youre looking for swanky then any other hotels in immediate time square area will do

In NYC midrange is looking at like $300 to $400 a night! You may want to stay outside of Manhattan and take the subway back and forth!

I liked the Wellington or the Salisbury. both were reasonable in walking distance and had old world charm
