We stayed at a really nice hotel in the Inner Harbor. That area of Baltimore is nice with attractions such as an aquarium, old historic ships and submarines that can be toured, a lot of shopping and restaurants and pubs. There was a lot to do and glad we stayed down there.

This was my first cruise from the Baltimore, as I cruise out of Bayonne, NJ (Cape Liberty). I live in Delaware and this trip to Baltimore was easier and much quicker to get to than Bayonne. Everything from arrival on went extremely smooth! Except for the fact that our ship needed to sit in the Chesapeake Bay overnight, due to weather conditions, which in turn made us miss docking in Nassau.

Stayed in the city of Baltimore the first cruise, at a Marriott and it was great, had to have valet parking which was fine, but was happy that the next morning we was getting on the ship because I seen some very crazy and dangerous problem outside my window from the third floor... Baltimore is not a safe place, even the people that worked there said please do not go out after dark 😳

efficient passport and checkin process, nice and comfortable waiting area while boarding ship but nowhere to really sit around inside (and it was hot at noon) once you disembark so have a ride or plan in place; we now know the times for disembarkation from ship (based on decks and tags) so we'll be better prepared next time.
