We did a walking food tour that was really fantastic - A Taste of Victoria with Andy as our tour guide. We went to 5 or 6 different places and sampled meatballs, macarons, an Italian bakery, pieroges, local beer, even some biscuits. Andy also had interesting history to talk about as we wandered. This was really a great experience.

We had so little time in Victoria, we just walked around the town, had a drink, and did a little sightseeing by foot. It's pretty there. I was shocked at the subtropical plants growing so far north. We enjoyed the upscale atmosphere for a drink at the Q Lounge in the Empress hotel on the waterfront. Otherwise, there wasn't enough time to really see the city, but we enjoyed it nevertheless.

Didn’t go on any excursions since we were scheduled to arrive after 8pm. We actually arrived a little bit earlier because we skipped Ketchikan all together. Got on a bus to the city did some shopping and plenty of time to walk around before heading back to the ship. Clean and very beautiful city.

Beautiful city but we arrived late and it was dark so we could not see much. Craigdarroch castle was cool and since it was inside tour it was lit and we could enjoy it.

Excellent port of call. We did the Hop On Hop Off bus so we could see the city and we were happy with that choice. It is a wonderful blend of coastal town and european city with a touch of canadian (it is in Canada!) thrown in for fun. We ate lunch in China Town and it was one of the best meals we've had. Toured the city for an hour and a half and walked from the last/first stop at the Empress Hotel to a pub up the street where they had a live band playing and we enjoyed the best seafood chowder and a couple of pints.
