This was our embarkation port. Though the place where you load for your cruise was busy, cold, windy and uncomfortable, the rest of the city is okay.

City has many hills making walking uphill a chore. More graded hills than San Francisco. Stayed extra days after cruise.

Busy as is right off a main road, port is not separate as in other locations.

Did the “best of Seattle” tour on debarkation day. Quick but nice. Space needle and pikes market. Then they take you to the airport.

Because we couldn’t do a lot of walking and had 14 hours for our flight, we took the Bainbridge Ferry to Bainbridge Island and caught the Clearwater Casino shuttle to the casino to spend the day. After a fun day we took Ferry back after an hour delay and the Light Rail to the airport. The walk up hill was no fun. We were able to enjoy the day because we used the free Port Valet service to check our luggage to our final destination. Please take advantage of this process.

sailed from Seattle. Did not do anything there. Just spent the night to be able to catch the cruise on time.
