Since we arrived in New Orleans a day before our cruise, we did not arrange any sightseeing activities after our cruise. Nonetheless, New Orleans is a great town for sightseeing and enjoying life. Make some plans to stay here before or after your cruise.

I live in New Orleans area, so no excursions were booked. The embarkation and debarkation process has come a LONG way, in the past few years, though! We were dropped off and on the ship within 15 min!

Great city. The only time we sailed in, the cruise port was a bit of a cluster, but that happens. We’ve always loved it there, my mom’s family is from the area. There is a little bit of everything in New Orleans, and something for almost everybody. I highly recommend spending a little time in the Crescent City.

Did not like Nola at all. Too congested, difficult to navigate. $22 to participate in French Market area, went to Cafe Du Monde. Enjoyed some Cafe au lait and begniets, tried to sightsee a little and had a guy come up and shine my husband's tennis shoes (which are mostly fabric). This man got offended when we only gave him a dollar for this totally ideotic service because he wanted $10. Didn't feel safe. Place smelled like pee.
