We drove in the night before the cruise, so we didn't have a lot of time to sightsee. I did go to Café Du Monde & tried the beignets. They are very good. If you want to avoid the crowds, go to the one in Kenner, near the airport.

Just check before signing up for the cruise that you are not going on Mardi Gras weekend. That was a little crazy!

We stayed in New Orleans two nights before we left. Lots of things to see and do, but Bourbon Street is not very clean.

This town has a lot of history and it was a great place to visit once. The city itself is very dirty and some places do not feel safe at all.

We flew in a day before the cruise and walked around. Very interesting city! I will have to come back and spend more time there.

Nice. Do the Hop-on-Hop-off several days if possible. New Orleans Cooking School class for $28.00 was great!!

Bourbon street was fun and exciting. Not recommended for the young ones though. Was not too sanitary. Bring the hand sanitizer
