We only embark and disembark as we live 3 hours away. The port is very easy to cruise out of and we enjoy sailing down the Mississippi.

We visit here regularly. If you can't have fun in Nawlins, you are just not going to have fun anywhere.

Food is great, streets and smells are not so great. For sure go to Jackson Square. It's the heart of the French Quarter.

The port was easy to access. I was surprised at how long it took to get from the port to the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We we're debarking the ship at sunrise (7am) since we had faster to the fun. It was quick and smooth.

We had some rain and it was a bit chilly but this didn't stop us! I loved having the opportunity to explore New Orleans. Coming down a day early was a great decision.

Go to the Acme Oyster House! Even if there's a line, it moves quickly. It was a great place to eat!!
