Duty free alcohol and other shopping always best here! They will charge $5 per person for a bus trip to town or $10 per person by boat... I would recommend both! There’s some nice cafes on the water where you can buy a drink and soak up the atmosphere.

We nearly turned back to the ship at the port when faced to the horde of greedy, pushy taxi drivers without having any civilized option. Finally we managed to get to the cascades which was beautiful and a must have experience but became a nightmare to find a taxi driver back to the ship. They acted like an organised criminal gang.

Can you do more than one of the excursions ? Would like to do jet boats & one of the tours ? Thanks. Have read so many mixed reviews on each location.

We had an independent tour booked through Bountiful Tours and we loved it. Highly recommend. We visited duty free, chocolate factory, cultural village, Turtle Bay Sanctuary and the Blue lagoon. What an experience.

Loved Port Vila, super friendly locals. We did a day tour (privately organised through Atomosphere Tours), we went to the Tribal Village, Blue Lagoon, Turtle Sanctuary and Duty Free shopping.

It is very pretty. We paid for a private taxi for 3 and a half hours. He was very pleasant and showed us places that planned excursions would not have taken us.

Very well organised, and informative. I enjoyed the cultural experience, and I loved feeding the wild fish during snorkeling part of the Ifira Island visit.
